Description of Work: IT WAS A VERY BUSY TIME, HAVING HAD LOTS OF DAMAGE FROM WINTER STORMS. I DID NOT TALE THE TIME TO GET ANOTHER QUOTE, AND HIS WAS WITHOUT LOOKING AT THE JOB. I SUGGEST THAT CUSTOMERS GET A WRITTEN, ON-SITE QUOTE. tHE WORK WAS EXCELLENT.

+ -1 moreLike I said before, my husband called this installer and set up the appt. He came at the agreed upon time and did the installation of the gutters. When he was done, he was paid - end of story. He acted very professional and knew what he was doing, the gutters have a nice tight fit and we really have no complaints.
Description of Work: Although our all around the house gutters were installed over a year ago we are very pleased with the overall quality and service provided by this installer. The product is still in as good a shape as when first installed and we live on a very exposed site where the wind is fierce. When my husband called the installer, they set up a date and approx. time. He showed up on time, did his job, was paid and that was all there was to it. I wish all contractors were that easy to work with. And as I stated we are still very pleased with the service and have not had any trouble with loose screws/ parts.

+ -1 moreThey were on time and professional. It took them less than two hours to remove the old gutters and install the new ones on a 60x26 house with a dormer plus a 28 foot wide attached garage. After the gutters were installed they cleaned up around the house and took away the old gutters and all scrap materials. The new gutters look great! Steve also explained how he uses the recommended heavier gauge aluminum gutter material and how the interor flange goes further back under the drip edge. He also had a collection of hardware used by some of his competitors for comparison to show how the clamps and screws he uses are stronger and more corrosion resistant. This information correlated with the research I had done when shopping for a contractor. The bottom line: Some contractors may offer a lower bid, but they may be quoting based on a lighter gauge material and inferior hardware. Their gutters may turn out flimsy. So do your homework! Steve took the time to answer all my questions, both during the initial phone contact and while on the job. His final price matched his estimate to the dollar. It was neither the highest nor lowest bid I had received, but I feel that Steve provided the best overall value. Check out his Youtube video by Googling "Favret Seamless Gutters Watertown, NY"
Description of Work: Steve Favret (the owner) and his assistant, Stacey, replaced the old gutters & downspouts on our house and garage with new seamless gutters. Note that Favret's above address in Carthage is incorrect. It should be 38309 Weaver Rd, Brownville, NY 13615. And thanks to old information still on the Internet, you'll also run across a previous Watertown, NY address.

+ -1 moreGreat, small company! He gave me a quote over the phone which was very close to what I paid in the end. They arrived on time and he was easy to talk to and discuss problem areas. He made sure he understood the job before he started, did additional work on the garage without fussing, and was willing to let me work on a rainwater-spout design. The work took less than a day. Very confident young man.
Description of Work: Installed new complete gutter system (est. 80ft.) on a cape style house with 4 inside corners and 4 (av. 10ft.) downspouts. Additional work included one side of the garage with a small roof extention over the side door. This included one elaborate downspout with a custom spout for a rainwater barrel.
