Everything went very well. He is reliable and easy to get a hold of. I have used him twice and both times he was prompt with his service and I received a reasonable price.

Mario showed up on-time and even managed to juggle a couple of other unexpected and more pressing jobs to keep our appointment -- a relief for us as we had company coming for the long weekend and would be making use of the outdoors and the hose. He surveyed the damage, informed us of our options, and made short and conscientious work of the repair, always taking care to keep us abreast of what he was doing. Mario is an intelligent, professional, highly-trained young craftsman who takes pride and interest in what he does. Guys like this used to be everywhere, but they are hard to find anymore. He won't waste your time and he'll deal with you fair and square. You'll also learn a thing or two if you you're interested.

My wife and I noticed that the floor in the guest bathroom was getting wet. We couldn't find the source, but then I saw that the lower part of the sheetrock wall was getting soggy. Mario responded quickly, got the job done, and even followed up with a call to make sure that there were no more problems. This is the third time that we've used Molino Plumbing, and I'm recommending him to everyone! He knows what he's doing, and he's honest. Our old house (built 1964) will no doubt need more work in the future. It's nice t know that we have a great plumber to call!

Mario is a rare find! His response time is outstanding, and he is always punctual (if not early). Not only did he fix my leak, he checked out other fixtures in the house/basement to make sure everything was in tip-top shape. He is personable and conscientious, and above all, honest. I highly recommend his services.

There was nothing wrong with the drain. He does a good job and is very customer oriented. He comes very promptly and explains the problem. I will be calling him today to have him come back and work on a problem that he was working on before.

I initially called Mario after I returned from being out of town several days and finding my water pressure nonexistent. It was during one of the myriad of storms we've suffered this winter and he was on an emergency call but recommended another company in the area. A short time later he called me back while on a break stayed on the phone with me for over 1/2 an hour and thanks to him I found a portion of my pipe had frozen he walked me thru getting the water flowing once again and I was able to cancel my appt with the other company. I had several leaks that needed tending to so he came out that weekend took a look and they were worse than I thought - we set up an appointment. He arrived early and in true Mario spirit fixed countless problems while giving tips and advice along the way. He is always very deliberate & thorough in his work. You can tell he really loves his job and really knows what he is doing. He followed up with me later in the day - you can tell his concern is sincere. Mario is extremely trustworthy and I would not hesitate to refer him. I have used him before and will continue to use him.

It went great! Mario was very responsive and immediatley called upon receipt of my e-mail and came over the next morning to do the job. He was very professional as he explained the problem but made it easy enough for me to understand. Within an hour the job was done with no mess and nice clean up! I will definitely call him next time we need a plumber.

Mario is a consummate professional who takes the sort of pride in his work that is really hard to find anymore. He responded within minutes to an e-mail message I sent at 8:30 a.m. on a Tuesday morning. He was at the house within an hour and immediately set to work trying to uncover the mystery of our tub's hot water, which had been steadily losing volume over our 2 years in the house. He spent nearly 2 hours attempting to diagnose and remedy the problem, arriving at the conclusion that there was likely a blockage of some kind in the valve inside the wall. Fixing that would be pricey, and he actually recommended against it -- at least until the shower was no longer functional and were ready to break through tile and drywall. At that point, he initially -- remarkably -- refused any payment, having been unable to fix the problem, though I insisted on paying him something for his time. He accepted his normal $78 diagnostic fee and then left, saying he'd ponder the problem further. You could tell it bothered him that he hadn't fixed it, though i could hardly complain. He'd tried everything. THEN, he called an hour later with thoughts on a new tactic. He was back with wire, copper tubing and a shop vac, which he used repeatedly in combo to coax the remnants of two rubber washers and other debris from the pipe inside the wall. I was amazed at his tenacity, and by the end, the volume was VASTLY improved, obviating the need for extensive destruction to get inside the wall. Is it perfect? No, but it's an incredible improvement and one we can be happy with. And if there does come a time when we really need (and can afford) the big valve-replacement job, you can bet we'll call Mario to do it. We closed the deal by tearing up the original $78 check and paying him $173 for his efforts. It was worth every penny.

Mario responded to my request for service on a Sunday evening, within an hour of my e-mail. He scheduled an appointment and even showed up early. The problem turned out to be an easy fix--shower head needed cleaning, but he came prepared with a replacement head, and even checked out the piping in the shower to make sure all was in tip-top-shape. Mario consistently provides prompt, friendly, and thoroughly knowledgeable service. There is no better plumber!

We had just had our first weekend guests in our new home, and shortly after they left we noticed a water stain on the ceiling below the guest bath. Being new to the area, we had no idea who to call. We quickly got on Angie's list and found the promising listing and reviews for Molino Plumbing. I called and got the voicemail, and hung up with the intention of calling one of the other listings. Before I could finish dialing, my phone rang, and it was Mario Molino! He asked me a few pointed questions about the problem, and then said he would be here the next day to do an estimate. Mario arrived a little early for the appointment, and was very patient and thorough as he went about his business . He took his time and looked VERY carefully at everything as he tried to find the source of the main problem. We had to cut a hole in the ceiling below the guest bath to be able to see the plumbing, which Mario actually gave me the option to do myself saying that he would have to charge me if he did the work. We appreciated that. As he looked at the repairs that we needed estimates on, he also pointed out a few small repairs that we could do ourselves. We had an estimate for everything that we had discussed by the end of the day. On the day that he was going to do the work, Mario arrived just before the scheduled time. As he set about getting to work, he made sure to cover all surfaces around the work areas. The main job required cutting more of the ceiling under the guest bath open, and before making the cut he made sure it was ok and explained what he needed to do and why. He was very careful and neat as he went about the work, and after he had completed the jobs he left them as clean as they were before he did the work. After doing the work, Mario followed up with us a couple of times to make sure that everything was working as it should. It has been about a month since the work was completed, and everything is working beautifully. We feel lucky to have found Molino plumbing here on Angie's list. Mario was prompt, professional, communicative and very respectful of our home. We would absolutely recommend him, and in fact plan to use him again in the near future.

I can?t speak highly enough about him. We had a water leak and we could not understand from where it was coming from and he repaired it and it started leaking again and we could not understand that and he followed up with me so many times. We paid about a hundred and something for that work.

We had tried to fix the toilet ourselves but after 30 minutes knew we needed a professional because water was spraying all over the place. I called Molino plumbing at 8:00 in the evening, expecting a call the next morning, but he called back within the half-hour. He was engaged and concerned and we scheduled an appointment with him the following morning. He showed up 30 minutes early, was knowlegeable, thorough and pleasant. He fixed the toilet and called that evening to make sure there werent any problems. His concern is sincere and he seems trustworthy.

Provider came to my house and diagnosed the problem I am having as having to do with my geothermal system rather than plumbing. He was thoughtful, professional, friendly, punctual and did not charge anything for the visit. I will definitely use him again.

Mario, the plumber, arrived early. He took the shower handle off of the wall and decided he didn't have the equipment he needed. He came back at the same time the next day with everything he needed. He replaced the cartridge, checked everything three times, and let me check for moisture, leaks, or drips. He cleaned up after himself, and left no mess whatsoever. The shower works fine, no more drips.

Next day service, arrived on-time, neat, clean, competent. Have received a follow-up phone call. Excellent service!

mario diagnosed the problem effeciently and proposed several remedies. we agreed on installing a new water heater and couldn't have been more pleased with the results. Mario was better than hyped in punctuality, effeciency, knowledge, and professionalism and the price was fair for the work done. will definately use him again and urge anyone in Putnam, upper Westchester to consider the same.

Mario was able to analyze the problem and fix it. Water was leaking onto basement floor. He explained that the original installation was faulty and therefore we were having these issues. He was very conscientious about his work.

The old hot water faucet was leaking. Mario could have just tightened it and left it at that, but realizing that I turn the faucets on and off when using the washing machine, he asked me to try to turn the handle. With it tightened, I could turn it but it was VERY hard to do! He asked if I would like him to replace the faucets, which I did. He put on new ones that I only have to turn 1/4 turn. What a luxury! It's so easy now! He thought about what would make my life easier and made suggestions to that end. Afterwards, he made sure there weren't any leaks by running the washer and checking the connections. I have never gotten such service from any other plumber I have used.

We were very pleased with Mario?s work. He was punctual and he did a great job. He?s very easy to talk with. He gave us free estimates on other plumbing work that we need. We plan to have him do the work, and we will be recommending him to our friends and neighbors.

I called Mario at 9 AM and he was at my house that same afternoon. The handle on my toilet had a loose nut and was stuck in the down position so water was running. After reviewing the situation, he told me he could tighten the nut and I did not need a new handle. He recommended replacing some other parts in the toilet because they were worn. Toilet has been functioning beautifully since he did the work.

Called him, we scheduled an appointment right away. He came early. Got to work and fixed it. Checked it to make sure it continued to work properly. I highly recommend him. Honest, hard working, motivated. He's my new plumber and I've already referred him to several neighbors & colleagues.
