Once again Mario is the man!!! I noticed on a Saturday (of course) that my water heater was leaking. I called Molino Plumbing and left a message. Within a short period of time Mario called me back which I appreciated being that it was the weekend but as usual he went above and beyond and actually came over to the house to diagnose the situation. After discussing various options with us he not only promised to get an estimate to us he also called the company of my water heater to see if it was still under warranty -- did I mention this was a Saturday! We received the estimate as promised and before the week was up we had a new water heater installed. Mario in true form called and emailed to make sure all was working well. I would not hesitate to recommend Molino Plumbing and plan on using them for our future needs.

We?ve been happy customers of Mario?s in the past, so when a pipe leading to the hose outside the house froze and burst, we called him. He?s quick to respond, and always shows up early for the appointment. He did a good job on the broken pipe, and we decided that it was time to replace the faucet in the kitchen. He gave us an estimate, and a week later (as we had scheduled) did that job for us. One of the best things about Mario is that, unlike some plumbers, he looks for the best way to get the job done. He doesn?t just look for ways to make more money, and in an older house like ours, that would be easy to do. Another nice thing is that he always calls and/or sends an e-mail afterwards to make sure that we were satisfied. We?re glad we found Mario, and recommend him without hesitation.

I had had other plumbers over to try and find the leak. Not one of them spent the time trying to locate it that Mario did. The only recommendation I got was to rip out my upstairs bathroom, even though there was no conclusive evidence that the leak was from there. Mario spent two hours working to locate where the leak was coming from. He individually checked every source of running water in the house. Unfortunately the source of the leak could not be determined. But instead of telling me to rip out my bathroom Mario me gave suggestions about what needed to be caulked as it might be the possible source of the leak. He worked out a plan with me and then emailed later in the day with all of his recommendations so that i would have them written out for me. He emails on a regular basis to see how things are going as we work to find the source of the leak. Mario is a very special professional. He is truly concerned about his clients and does not take the easy way out. We have still not located the source of the leak but I am positive that with Mario's guidance and preserverance It will be found. He is a true professional. In my experience there are not many like him around.

The valve in our tub had been leaking for quite some time. In order to replace the valve, Mario lovingly hand-cut the sheetrock in the kitchen (tub has a vinyl surround and valve could not be accessed from bathroom) to access the pipes. He replaced the old valve with a new ceramic valve which will better withstand our hard well water, and also replaced all the piping. When the plumbing was repaired, Mario patched up the sheetrock--he did NOT leave us with a gaping hole in the wall! He did an excellent job. He also came back the day after the repair to check the shut-off valve for the hot water, which was dripping after use of the shower. He tightened it up, and we have been dry ever since. Excellent workmanship (as always!), and the utmost respect for our home, Mario is a gem!

Every time we used the shower or kitchen sink we had a waterfall of water in the basement. Mario came and ventured into the tiny crawl space where the water was originating, and determined that a section of galvanized pipe that was original to the house (about 70 years old) had completely sheared off, and was spilling the waste water into the crawl space. The area of the break was so confined that no human being could have possibly fit into it, so we cut a trap door into the bathroom floor, and he was able to repair the pipe from there. He spent a better part of the day working on the pipes, and stuck around when he was done to make sure nothing was still leaking.

Mario has been helping us out in our new home for a few months now. He's been very helpful replacing old valves and fixing leaks left to us by the previous owner. When the water heater started giving us problems he gave us a very competitive quote and was able to schedule a relatively replacement for our old water heater. It's always a pleasure working with him, he's curious, very knowledgeable and checks in for days after a job to ensure there are no problems with the repair/replacement. We'll definitely be calling on Mario again soon to help with more plumbing troubles left to us by the previous owner.

Mario, as usual, was punctual and professional. He typically arrives early for a scheduled appointment, which is almost unheard of these days -- and makes planning your life much easier. He worked carefully and conscientiously, cutting our old copper piping -- which had long leaked and made using the basement bathroom all but impossible -- and installing a whole new system of copper lines and valves. he also installed a new sink and, when I inadvertently cracked the base of the old toilet, he came back and installed a new toilet as well. You can't go wrong hiring Mario. Also love that he uses email. Makes communicating with him much easier.

Mario was one of several plumbers we called last summer after we came home from vacation to find our well pump had broken. It was on a Saturday and we were desperate to find someone to help. Even though Mario doesn't work on well pumps he was the only person to call us back in a timely manner. When we started having trouble with brown water this fall I got on Angie's List and started looking for a plumber. I spotted his name and remembered him. Despite not having very good luck with plumbers in the past, I made an appointment for him to come to our house. Am I glad I did. He arrived for the appointment early, took a genuine interest in our problem and discussed various alternatives. We decided on a water softener system which he installed within a week. I arrived home on a Friday after the work was done and my husband couldn't wait to drag me into the basement to look at the work. I must say - the job was done beautifully. I've lived in a lot of old houses and had a lot of plumbing jobs done but never have I seen one as neat and gorgeous (yes, I said gorgeous) as this one. My husband says "if there is a God of plumbing, Mario is the one". Needless to say we are extremely satisfied. Mario is a great guy who takes genuine interest in his customers. He is in constant contact with you concerning the job. There were no surprises and the job was done in an extremely timely manner. I'll be calling him for more work in the future!

Mario was timely,friendly, courteous and dressed appropriately for the job. Even though it was very cold outside, he soldered the parts outside the house saying that he didn't like to solder inside because it would leave fumes inside. I was impressed. While he repaired the line he clearly explained everything that he did and why, because I told him I was interested. He is very competent, does a neat and solid repair. He is very pleasant to talk to. It was a pleasant experience. In the end he lowered his price to $125. He also asked me to check his work later and email him that there were no leaks. He is concerned and a very good worker.

The bathroom sink U pipe replacement and overall plumbing evaluation were done in the first visit. Kitchen and bathroom sink faucets and diagnostic to find the hidden leak in the kitchen plumbing were done on a second visit. (I had opened up the back of the kitchen sink cabinet and the sheet rock behind it in the meantime) Mr. Molino also install a new valve for the line to the refrigerator ice maker, which had also needed attention. On the third visit he completed the final repair, the cutting and replacement of the kitchen drain pipe that was leaking from holes in the pipe from two places and had been running down the back wall into the basement) I have very hard corrosive water, and he showed me how the kitchen faucet which was old was leaking at its base, probably for quite some time and the water had seeped through and down the outside of the drain pipe and caused corrosion from the outside in, shortening its effective life and creating the holes in that pipe, which had caused so much damage in my basement. Mr. Molino double and triple checked all his repairs, and followed up with emails and phone calls to make sure everything was working fine and to my satisfaction

All went well. Mario made sure I ordered the correct faucet and then replaced it. Works great!

He replaced the bathroom faucet,drainage waste pipe under sink. It went very well and we were very pleased.

Mario is a very nice young man. I will refer anyone who needs a plumber to him and if there were A+++s available he would get them.

Mario arrived promptly in spite of the last minute notice. It turned out to be a much more time consuming job than expected as the toilet commode turned out to be defective, non-symetrical and malformed and no wonder it started leaking from non-standard screws. But he fixed it fine, and gave me a very reasonable price. This is the second review I have done of this business and I am happy to be able to give a second positive A+ review.

As always, I am hugely impressed with Mario's service. He responded to my e-mail right away, and even came to help me out on a holiday weekend. When he removed the corroded pipe from the wall, he found that a piece of pipe from a previous repair was stuck in the connecting pipe, and he was able to get it out without having to open up the sheetrock to get at it. Mario is the best type of service provider you will ever find, I cannot say enough about the quality of his workmanship. He truly cares about the job he does, and always follows up with a phone call or e-mail to make sure everything is working properly after a few days. He is a gem.

I joined Angie's list because I've had some not-so-great experiences with plumbers in the past. It turned out to be a good move, and Mario was just what the doctor ordered. He was prompt, professional and did a fine job. He actually did more than was originally planned, because the broken faucet in the tub/shower turned out to be the wrong part in the first place (which may have lead to its breaking). He fixed and replaced the broken one (the cold water faucet), and replaced the other one (the hot water faucet) with the right part. Everything works smoothly now. In addition, Mario installed a new faucet set in my kitchen sink. That is working just fine now, as well. Another nice thing about Mario was that he actually called the next day to see how everything was working. Very professional follow-up. So once again, I am glad I joined Angie's List!

If we could give Mario a rating higher than A we would! We called him late yesterday afternoon. He came early this morning. He was efficient, professional, knowledgeable and neat. He gave us some really good advice. He did the job very quickly and very well, wrote out a detailed bill and charged us a more than fair price. We are very satisfied with his work. We would definitely recommend him and use his services again. He called the next day to make sure that everything was OK. Above and beyond expectations!!!!

Mario was on time,very courteous, very professional and checked everything several times. We would call him again anytime we have a problem.

Arrived early, did a quick, neat job of replacing tub spouts, tested spouts to see that they were working correctly. Answered all my questions. Very professional. This is the second time I have used Molino Plumbing for work in my house. Just as pleased as the first time.

He was fantastic. He was prompt and I feel like he's an old friend. His communication is just great and is very readily accesible! He does great work and the price is right. He's a young guy and is really fired up about his job. I'm very happy with the service I have received. Last year, I was having problems with a device that stopped working with my washing machine. It was something that would stop the water if the rubber pipe were to burst which could result in a big problem. He took time out of his busy schedule on his way home to take a look at it. He told me what the problem was. I didn't have him do the work to fix it, I used the people who had installed the appliance. What it comes down to is that he stopped by on his way home for me to help me with no charge.

It was a great experience. He was prompt, knowledgeable and pleasant. He obviously cares about doing a good job and having satisfied customers. I also thought his price was reasonable. I would certainly use Molino Plumbing again for any future problems.

Mario arrived right on time, carefully looked over the source of the problem and thoughtfully explained the work that he thought was necessary. After we agreed on the work that would be done, he carefully cleared and prepared the areas in which he would be working and got to work. The installation of the new frost-free hose bibb is very well done and works like a charm!

He came out the day after I called (although it was no emergency), arrived early, fixed the problem competently and quickly, and gave me a big discount on the price since it was just a small job. I have talked to Molino before and he has been very willing to take the time to just answer questions over the phone. He is a very congenial and good guy. I would have him back for any problem to do with plumbing or heating.
