I originally had contracted to have my chimney repointed. The mason alerted Paul Whigham to the fact that there was damage to my second story roofing. -- which they showed me. I contracted for them to replace all of my roofing and gutters. Thankfully, I did so. When they removed the second story roofing there was a great amount of rotted wood -- so they had to replace the "boarding" for that story. (The roofing was only 18 years old but apparently not a "good job" when done at that time). I found the crews to be extremely punctual, meticulous about their work, and very polite. All debris was totally cleaned up and taken away. I also found Paul to be extremely honest when it came to pricing and also about the additional work that was needed (Ie, replacing the second story boards, etc.). Overall, although an unexpected experience, a good one.

Very Happy with the men who worked on my roof. They did a great job, especially since they worked in 17 - 25 degree weather and on 1 day snow. They really did an amazing job. My complaints are not with them at all, but rather with the quote that I recieved and the total amount that I was later charged for the job. I was given an estimate of $8300 which was at the higher end of my estimates, but they later billed me for an additional $3200 for extra expense on something they were able to see from the street. Very unhappy with that aspect of it, and still waiting for the itemized bill with what the $3200 is for.

Andy, the Sales Representative, was my first contact with this company. He was very professional and knew his materials and the quality that I could expect. What turned out to be a 2 - 3 day job became a 4 day job (5 layers of previous roofing needed to be removed!). The workers were very polite, worked a few nights until 6:00 and 7:00 and finished the job in an efficient manner. Freddy, the foreman on the job, was very informative and kept me in the loop as to what needed to be done in order to make out roof watertight. I would recommend John Whigham with no reservations.

John & Rob were very professional and replied to my request for service within 2hrs. They had thier crew to my houes to remove the snow from the roof and place a tarp over the damaged areas within 2 hrs.Their free estimate was fair and they started the process for financing before they left my home. I did not use them,because Iwas able to get a contractor through a friend who will work with me on payments more freely. If it were not for my friend help I would definately have used John Whigam. The friend that will be doing my work knows of Whigam and says they are highly recommendable and do good work.

I was very happy with my handyman and I will be using him for any future jobs.

I needed a complete siding job done, and John Whigham did a great job. I was given a choice of what materials I could choose, I was given a short presentation of how the siding process would be done, and construction was fast and accurate. Job well done.

John Whigham, Inc did outstanding work replacing the roof and installing new siding on my house and garage. I am very pleased with the quality of work and the work crew were very professional and courteous. The sales person, Anthony, was great and very helpful. A job well done by all!

I guess we had a communications problem, because the job did not come near to what I requested. I was as if he didn't consider anything I asked.

The crew were thorough and knowledgable about what had to be done. They worked on my project every day and were finished by the end of the week. The project supervisor came every day to inspect the work that was done, and explained each step to me so that I would understand what was happening.

Didnt complete agreed-to job

Signed to have repair done, on 8/5/11. Storms came, priority jobs came first. Unable to get return calls from them. Now 9/15/11, still no work started, no calls returned to me. Im about ready to ask for a refund of my deposit and go to another contractor.

They came very quickly after we got the quote. And 6 workers came to do our roofing very, very quickly. It was done very efficiently. However, the workers used some of our wood of ours, that was in the garage for some reason. And it was very expensive wood. So John Whigham agreed to reimburse us for that wood that they used, which we're still not sure why they used it. We still haven't gotten the check from John Whigham. So we're a little bit frustrated by that. And also, originally we started this job over a year ago, and the price was lower. The prices went way up, so that was a little bit frustrating. But I'll have to say that the roof looks beautiful, it was done incredibly quickly, efficiently, and as soon as we get that check to reimburse us for the wood that was used by the workers by an accident, we'll be very satisfied.

we had some confusion in the beginning. However, they were very professional they responded immediately and made an amicable solution for both parties. the job was started as stated and most importatntly finished without hesitation.. I was extremely pleased with the quality of their work.All their help were polite and courteus.When the job was complete the area was left neat and clean.
