Description of Work: .Last used his company a year ago for an excavation and also setup a drainage system around the house, As well as moving a large shed from one area to another.

+ -1 moreUpon inspection by a professional civil engineer, it was documented that the curtain drain was no more than 18" deep and did not drain any water to the side road. Upon further inspection, the new drain was found to be attached to an old drain they came across in the excavating process. The old drain drained the water UNDER the tennis court, exactly where I did not what any water to go, due to the likelihood of weakening the asphalt tennis court and creating cracks in it. After asking Colf Excavation to right the situation, they refused. We are therefore taking them to court. The cost of redoing the curtain drain was more expensive but was done correctly by a responsible new contractor, Mason Trenching.
Description of Work: We contracted Colf Excavating to dig a "curtain" drain along a tennis court from the barn to a side road, 4' deep, in order to drain water coming off a hill behind the court to the side road.
