Description of Work: I called with a concern over our AC not sending cool air. The service tech came on time and called prior as a courtesy. He was dressed in a uniform which was professional. Unfortunately that is where the positive stopped. The tech quoted that we were totally out of coolant due to a leak of unknown location, leaving our AC unit without a charge. He also discovered a mouse's nest and replaced parts as a result of rodent damage. As for the unit, he indicated that replacement gas would cost $99 a pound because the gas was becoming obsolete (our unit is 10 years old) and our unit would require 6 pounds of gas, thus $600 alone for gas. He offered to schedule a leak test with inert gas and soap bubbles which could produce or not produce the leak. I got a quote of $300 for the test plus the $600 in gas which would be $900 to potentially find the leak. I was quoted $7,500 for a completely new setup. I opted for a second opinion. Glad I did, the second tech indicated that the parts I was charged for previously were in fact not replaced (I showed him the invoice), and he fixed the system for $250 total. He indicated we had half a charge on the system (not completely empty), requiring 3 pounds of gas, (not 6), at a cost of $30 a pound, not $99 a pound as Murray's had quoted. They also said that Murray's quote of ~$7500 to replace the entire system was outrageous. We've been enjoying our system without fail ever since contacting another company.

Description of Work: Pete from Murray's came very promptly and removed our water tank and replaced with a new one. He also took the time to connect our new sump pump which stopped working and flooded our basement. This company is truly exceptional and very professional. They are honest and work very hard to satisfy the customer. Michael also stopped to attend to the fact that our basement flooded once again. He reached into the sump pump hole and retrieved a piece of wood that was blocking the base of the sump pump hole. He did not charge my husband a penny! So kind and awesome.

Description of Work: I requested a heating inspection and cleaning. The provider was prompt and did what exactly was requested. Provider called the day before to remind me of appointment. I would recommend this provider to anyone.

Description of Work: Our AC unit wasn't working well (especially upstairs). They came, met with my husband and helped come up with the most cost effective solution for the time (refilling coolant). We weren't pushed for big repairs they may have been unnecessary. He took my husband around the house and showed him easy ways to improve airflow so we could better manage things on our own. They were very professional and helpful. It worked well throughout the summer (if w do have a leak, it's a small one), and we'll see what happens next year. We would definitely call Murray's again!

Description of Work: They came to clean my furnace and tell me if it is venting properly. While they were running about 45 min late, once they arrived the gentleman was professional and informative.

Description of Work: After obtaining several estimates, we used Murray's for a new gas furnace and hot water heater. The installation went off on schedule and was done in a day. The installers were completely professional in their punctuality, work and cleanup. I would recommend this contractor without reservation.
