Furnace clean and check. All went very well. They were incredibly thorough, very neat and tidy, and cheerful about explaining what they were doing and what they found. One small problem (completely legitimate) was found, and they will be getting me an estimate on the cost of that repair.

I called nearly 3 weeks ago to schedule a maintenance appointment and the scheduler that took my call was extremely pleasant and advised that because it was not an emergent situation that I wait for a specific tech to become available that she knew to be an expert with my house's type of heating system. My appointment was for 9:00am and at 9:15am I received a call, which I appreciated, from the company letting me know that my tech was running late because he was stuck on the highway due to a car accident. Michael arrived shortly after the call and went right to work. The entire process took approximately 90 minutes, as he took the time to meticulously explain to me what he had done, possible issues I needed to look out for, and waited after his work was done to make sure there were no issues. Michael was very pleasant, is extremely knowledgeable, was excellent in his explanations to me, and was considerate enough to put booties on his wet boots when entering our home!! And to top it off the cost was well below what I expected considering the work Michael did. I will continue to use this company ANY time I have a home heating issue and will recommend them to anyone that asks for a referral.

Joe arrived on time and immediately got to work. He answered all of my questions clearly and cheerfully and explained exactly how boilers and radiators work - I knew the basics but he explained all the parts of the system to me. He then disassembled my boiler, cleaned all the burners and pilot light, cleared out the plugged clean-out valve, and fine tuned the system. The entire thing took about two hours. During his service, Joe discovered that the pressure gauge was broken. We've scheduled a follow-up visit to replace the broken gauge (he didn't have the proper replacement on the truck) and add a chemical cleaning agent to the boiler. As as side note, Id like to thank Joe for saving us from a future flooding catastrophe - when he plugged in his work light in the outlet behind our washing machine, he noticed a huge bulge in the rubber hot water hose! If that had blown out it water would have run freely all over the basement, and I shudder to think of what we would have returned to if it had happened while we were traveling over the holidays. I bought replacement hoses as soon as he left. So, not actually part of his service call, but I'm so glad he noticed the problem! I am very happy with Murray's and not only will I use them again for all my heating needs, I'll also be enthusiastically recommending them to my friends.

It was fine. They came and did the service within a few weeks after I purchased the deal. There was a small part they needed to put in. That was $8. So it was $87 that I paid in all.

FANTASTIC! I was expecting to make an appointment for later in the week, and they showed up within an hour. Joe found the problem very quickly, and fixed it very quickly. I thought the labor/parts costs were reasonable, I just thought that the service call price was a little bit high - perhaps that was because it was the weekend? I didn't ask, and to be fair I haven't used a service like this before so perhaps it's just sticker shock for me. Anyway, I'll definitely have them out again in the spring for an AC checkup.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It turned out great. I made the appointment with them, they showed up when they were supposed to show up, I gave them the coupon and it worked out fine. I'll do it anytime. I saved a couple of bucks too so that worked out good. There were no extra charges. With the deal, the price was fine. It was great. As far as I can say, the guy did a good job. I kind of quizzed him on a lot of things because I'm an engineer and I need to know that kind of stuff. Their responsiveness was great. The guy was right on time. I was very happy with the service and actually I'm going to keep them as my service provider for my furnace work.

From calling and scheduling the appointment to the very end of the job we were very pleased. Everything was quality and professional and each of the employees we came in contact with clearly love what they do. Our experience was above and beyond anything we could have dreamed. Highly, highly recommend these guys and intend to stay with them because service like this is extremely rare these days.

Their office quickly set me up for an appointment. They came in and did their service without a hassle. The men were polite and professional. Very Satisfied

Installation took one day - 9 am to 5:30 pm. Owner provided quote within one week of contacting him. We scheduled the installation for approximately two weeks later. The schedule opened up and we moved the install date up a few days. Technicians arrived as scheduled and worked all day inside and out. They were neat and clean when transitioning in and out of the house. System is in and functioning well. No problems - I would not hesitate to use or recommend Murray's for similar work in the future.

They were awesome and had reasonable pricing. I would recommend them highly to anyone that needs that type of work done.

Dan was very professional and informative. Murray's installed my furnace about 8 years age and they were a pleasure to work with. I booked the date for installation right away.

KUDOS to this company! My central A/C died on July 2nd..Murray's came, diagnosed and went out of their way to make sure my A/C was in working order before the July 4th holiday! From the girl that answered the phone to the guys that came to my home..A PLUS!!

We didn't end up using this company but I wanted to write a review to say how pleased we were with the service. We wanted central air installed in our home. They were professional and punctual and really informative. They didn't try to sell us things we didn't need and the only reason we didn't go with them is because of an unbelievable deal we got with another company. If my family wasn't down to one income and we weren't counting every dime we would have DEFINITELY paid the little extra to go with Murry's!!

While I did not select this vendor, I was pleased with the professionalism and the time Dan took to explain his product line and the advantages of each. Final selection was based on financing terms that Murray was edged out of.

Dan Murray and his staff were excellent to do business with. I felt the price was fair, they were prompt, knowledgeable and comfortable to have working in my home. A technician came the same day I called for service. I received a call back from the scheduler and the technician as soon as an accurate time for the appointment was available. The technician was prompt, professional and knowledgeable. Before he arrived, we were concerned that we would need a new A/C unit. We were very happy with this company's service.

He found the problem , but had to order a part , unable to reschedule for more than a week . I was disappointed they couldn't schedule sooner

There was a problem with our first appointment but that was fixed promptly and all work was done when expected. The workers were very friendly and courteous. They were very willing to explain what they were doing and why it was being done. I did not know anything about furnaces and they were very patient with my million questions. They answered everything so that I understood. I will recommend them in the future and I plan on using their services when needed.

called for estimate .A gentlemen stopped by gave good quote, and said it would probably be 10 days to get on the schedule. I said lets do it They got me on schedule for following Thursday "only 7 days", Then he called on Friday and said that they had a cancellation for Monday and if I would mind moving up on the schedule "are you kidding" They did the work neatly and clean-up very professionally. Great job guys

My furnace stopped working after business hours on a Friday night. I called Murray's and someone came out to my remote location w/in an hour and spent several hours inspecting the furnace, adjusting dampers and attempting to get an alternate heat source (gas fireplace) working. The following week another team inspected and determined the furnace needed replacing. They provided me with space heaters and the next day the owner himself came to my home and went over replacement options.

Went into the basement at about noon to do laundry and found a large puddle of water near the boiler with a fair amount of water continuing to drip. My husband is usually able to do any home maintenance or repairs, but he was out of town on business. Went onto Angie's list and found that Murray's Heating & Air Conditioning, LLC had excellent ratings. Coming off New Year's Eve and New Year's day I wasn't too optimistic that any company would be able to send someone out that day, but Murray's had someone here within the hour. The service person was very personable, polite and thorough. He showed me what was wrong and explained what needed to be done - the expansion tank was rusted and water was dripping from the relief valve. He looked up prices for parts and labor and gave me a price. I called my husband and asked the service person to speak with him on the phone to explain what was going on. When we agreed to have Murray's perform the work, the service person said he was going to call in and see if someone else could come out with the expansion tank. He said he was scheduled for a doctor's appt. that afternoon, but wanted to make sure the job was completed before he left. The other person came right out with the tank and they finished the job in time for him to make his appointment. I don't know much about plumbing rates, so I don't know where their price would fall amongst others, but I was glad they were able to make the repair and I didn't have to worry about water in the basement or not having hot water until my husband got back. I would recommend Murray's to others based on their service and would call them again if I need work done in the future.
