We have been calling on Ernie for several years and have never been disappointed with his work, even when we had an emergency one winter with our furnace, he was there. I would highly recommend!

My wife and I scheduled Ernie to give us an estimate for a replacement furnace and to have cental air conditioning installed. After assessing our needs and addressing all our questions, he told us that he'd have a quote for us in a few days. He said that he would either drop it off at our house or mail it to us. After a week with no quote, I called him to follow up. He acted surprised that we hadn't received the quote, and said that maybe his wife forgot to mail it. He said that he would look into it. Needless to say the quote never showed up, and we decided to hire another contractor. This lack of follow-through shows poor customer service and is completely unacceptable to me.

Our experience was great with Ernie! He was completely professional, efficient and delivered everything he said he would. I was very satisfied with his work. It is a family operation and it is a second generation Ernie. They offer all hours service and they are knowledgeable and friendly people. The boiler and hot water heater had leaked all over the floor and they were there within 24 hours to replace them. They were quick. We would definitely use them again.

Ernie couldn't have been nicer. We compared his quote and furnaces to another contractor and his prices were much more reasonable. We had him come back 3 times before signing the contract, because we changed our plans a number of times. He was patient and answered all of our questions with each new plan. He is experienced with these old houses, basements and octopus furnaces, and knew exactly what to do to utilize the space and existing duct work and cold air boxes. While another contractor was very willing to sell us an air conditioning unit along with the high efficiency furnace, Ernie pointed out that without cold air boxes on the second floor, air conditioning would not cool the upstairs as well as might be expected. The other contractor never even looked or asked if we had a cold air return on the second floor. We felt we could trust Ernie to give us sound advise, and to install a quality unit. We have run the furnace for the past few days, without problem. We'll know more once the winter months set in, and we are actually heating against the cold winter days.

Installed new cold air return and heat vent downstairs. Great job looks great! Came recommended by our realtor. Very responsive and good work. Used furnace last week on some cool nights-worked great! Other Heating company recommended 70k furnace but Ernie said with our space and future addition he would recommend a 90K furnace. His 90K furnace was $500 less than the other guys 70K furnace! Awesome job!
