Alden Painting

We could not have made a better choice and are extremely happy that we chose Alden Painting. Though he lives just over the border in New York and had multiple jobs going on at the time across the state line - John assured us that he would be punctual and begin the work as soon as one of the jobs was completed. True to his word- he arrived even days before scheduled. We found John and his sons to be extremely professional, efficient, punctual and responsive. The work that was done was of an excellent quality. They did a complete clean-up of the grounds after they were done. We were most pleased with the outcome of the job, which was completed quickly and expertly. We are very satisfied customers and would recommend John to other Vermonters in the greater Manchester area.

We bought a vacation home in Lake George, NY that needed a good deal of work as it was empty for 6 years. I found John Alden on Angie's List. John painted the entire interior of the house (3 floors) from ceiling to floor. He also is currently painting a screened in porch, deck and breezeway. Since I live 3 hours away, we had to use texting to coordinate the entire job. This could have been a nightmare but was anything but with John. John always lets me know when he will be working so I can let him in remotely and always promptly lets me know when he is leaving so I can remotely lock up and set alarm. We were very happy with the quality of John's work. He just doesn't paint, he provides valuable insight into color combinations which was extremely helpful. I would strongly recommend John Alden for all of your interior and exterior painting and power washing needs. He is a talented professional!

Very professional job.

The work went quickly and as noted above it all turned out perfect. This house is a family house and I managed the work with Alden Painting remotely. This needed close communication and Mr. Alden regular sent me digital photos of the work and between these and phone calls we were able to make effective decisions and this saved me a couple long drives.

They showed up on time every day, were neat and clean workers, kept in communication with me throughout the process, did excellent prep work and amazing finish work. John did excellent work at my home! I asked him to paint the entire interior of my house including doors and window trim. He worked quickly and efficiently with great attention to detail. He made the process incredibly easy for me. He finished a day earlier than expected and cleaned the entire workspace very well. Excellent workmanship and a pleasure to work with which is a rare and wonderful combination I would happily work with John again and would strongly recommend him.

John and his team did an excellent job painting the house and detached garage. The paint was applied thickly and evenly - I expected that I would have to ask him back to touch up some areas but I couldn't find any flaws. And unlike other painters that I have hired in the past, they kept sharp borders and didn't get stray paint on any lights, switches, doors, etc. They cleaned up after themselves well enough that you wouldn't have known they were there. We're very pleased, and it was well worth the price.
