They were slightly more expensive than the other quote that I got, but their availability was much better. I had them come out in I think it was June to give me a quote which is i'm sure at the height of their yearly demand. They were out about 4 weeks and when i gave them the go ahead he gave us the week he thought he would be there. I got a call about two weeks before telling me the day they would do the work (which was right in line with his estamate). They must have showed up around 7:00 AM right as they said they would and went to work. By the time I noticed them by about quarter after they already had everything marked out and were starting to dig. They were very professional and we went through everything before i left for work i showed them the low spot in the back where i wanted to have them pile the sod/dirt. They called me at around 1:00 to say everything was done. When i got home it was better than expected. The concrete looked good and there was surprisingly minimal damage to the yard for having to pour the shed pad in the back of the lot and me asking them to pile the dirt behind it. There was no spilled concrete anywhere and very minimal debris/garbage. They left the outter strip of sod off to the side for me to put back around the new concrete after it cured a bit. Additionally the spread the dirt throughout the low spot across the back of the lot, which was excellent and beyond what they needed to do. its a rough grade and needs a little shovel work yet, but that saved me a ton of work. Anyway so far everything is great and i'm very happy with the work. Hopefully it will hold up against the test of time, i don't see why it wouldn't.
Description of Work: Added a 12' wide lane that extended 30' down the side of the house and came out another 25' connecting into the existing driveway as a camper parking space. Additionally they poured a 12'x8' shed pad in the back.

Description of Work: I need to look up the date and cost of service, but the job itself looked fine when they left. A week later, there was a long crack in the concrete (front porch). I called that week and did not hear back, so the next week I phoned him 3 times, and did not hear back. The following week I called again, 3 times. Each time I explained that there was a crack in the new cement that went right down the middle of the porch, and could he please call me back. I never heard from him. I would not recommend this provider to anyone. Again, I do need to look up the date of the service as well as the cost.

Charlie Tulumello responded and came to our house the same day we called. One of the contractors from Angieslist (who lives just a couple blocks from us) cancelled twice so lost the bid. We had to wait a few weeks for their availability and good weather (call ASAP early in the season and expect service after a few weeks), but the 5 man crew was all business. The crew had about 200 years experience between them (really- the 'kid' was in his 40s and 2 of the guys were very fit right-off-the-boat from Italy 70+ year olds). About 20 minutes before the cement truck came they got really energetic like hunters preparing for the kill! The mini tractor that brought the cement into the back yard from the truck was damaging to surrounding flowers and shrubs- mask with plastic sheeting and masking tape your flowers, lawn, house, and anything adjacent to the work area you want to keep nice. The 'dust' he threw on the cement to impart the secondary color was a huge mess that rose above the house like a cloud (close all windows, etc) The price was about $1,000-$1,500 less than relaying our existing unilock pavers or replacing the pavers with new. When we were quoted the price, included was removal of the pavers by Tulumello (which we ended up selling on craigslist and having 'removed' for free before Tulumello arrived). Since Tulumello didn't need to remove the old, maybe we should have gotten a price break. (Removal was a huge job for the people who bought the pavers and would have been for Tulumello, too!) In the end, we are very happy with our new patio! My wife agonized over which color (Charlie plays it conservative on colors he advises and applies, which is wise, I think). When trying to choose color from their website, it was hard to discuss with him which colors we liked from the website because the samples were not numbered. My wife at first thought we got a different color than what she thought she wanted, but I think she likes now what we ended up with. Charlie came back after a few days and spray coated the patio and touched up places we scratched with our patio chairs. He also brought us a bottle of his home made Cabernet which we still are looking forward to enjoying. FYI the photo of the finished patio was done after rain, so the big blotch is just the first spot to dry.
Description of Work: Installed a stamped concrete back patio and 2 steps, also successfully rerouted the underlying drainpipe so that it now works properly and drains the cement pad in front of new patio. http://tulumelloconcrete.com/

The people that did the work were good. They were friendly and they work quickly. They put back anything that they kinda moved around in my backyard. They had to remove plants 'cause they had to get the Bobcat in there. They moved the fence but then after they got the Bobcat out there, they put them back for me. It just took two days to complete.
Description of Work: I used Tulumello Concrete Construction LLC for concrete pouring and repair. I had a backyard patio, stamped concrete redone so they came over and ripped out the old broken patio with all the broken concrete. They poured a new patio and put stamped down and concrete.
