Greg very unprofessional and aggressive. He’ll tell you about 23 times that he has 47 years experience and will make you feel like you’re getting exactly what you discuss. GET EVERYTHING AND I MEAN EVERY WORD IN WRITING!!! He will tell you one thing and make you feel like everything you discuss in person isn’t a big deal but he doesn’t write it on the contract and will do the bare minimum required. I was charged $600 to have 2 gates changed over to auto close gates. He was supposed to level out my fence seeing that I had a walkway installed after the fence was installed. He told me that’s not a big deal at all. When he arrived (over a month from the day he quoted) he acted like this was never discussed. Side note: He did not install the fence. He was only doing a repair because I had a walkway poured. Thank god he didn’t install the fence! STAY FAR AWAY!!

My husband asked them to do this. Charge .... $1,000 for one section of the fence. Asked if they could at least hammer it back up until they can do the work ... 8 weeks from now. Was told if they're back in the neighborhood they'll do it. Last time I let my husband contract work out.

I do not recommend this company. They were supposed to put my fence up in May and did not do it until July. They did not return my calls until I left a voicemail saying I would leave them a bad review. They did not call me to say they were coming to do the work I just came home one day and the old fence was torn down. There was no communication. The fence posts that they were supposed to straighten began leaning in November 4 months after they "straightened" them. When I contacted them about it they said it was not their responsibility because I had asked them to reuse the old fence posts. Also, they did not remove or instruct me to remove big weeds that were growing behind the old fence. So, they continue to grow under the new fence. Overall they did not provide quality work.

Greg very unprofessional, manipulative, and aggressive, he will sell you a dream in order for you to give him money. He told us the fence is a “custom built” reality he’s going to Home Depot get in with that me or you can buy for $1.58 a piece. GET EVERYTHING I MEAN EVERY WORD IN WRITING!!! He will tell you one thing but won’t put it in the contract! And make sure he’s puts an exact day he’s expecting to finish and hold him to that. He wrote 4 weeks or 6 weeks plus in the contract and that gives him a window to take 3 months and do a poor job, none of the proper hardware. When you express your concerns and ask for answers he gets completely aggressive and threatens your home, specifically putting a Lien on your home, calling the police, or not coming out at all. He made executive decisions about our property without contacting us first. He decided where our property line began and ended without asking even asking for the survey. Currently going through small claims court and to add when he threatened and became aggressive when leaving court to where he had to be escorted to the elevator. It's sad the inherited business from his father whom was a great man who stood by his fences, Greg ran this company to the ground.

It's been six weeks, and we can't get a definite date as to when he will get out to do our fence. He was more anxious to talk about his issues as a small business owner rather than giving us more definite answers. He said that he'd put weather permitting on the contract. Weather permitting is not carte blanche to providing services when it's convenient for him. I am glad we were able to reach him today,as he hadn't answered our previous contact. He was dismissive until I stated we would be posting a negative review on Angie's List. He then called my husband and said he would be out to do the job in the next couple of weeks. If he performs as promised, I will be open to writing an updated review for him. But up to this point, I would not recommend him. He stated that even though I was the one paying for the job and listed as the one signing the contract, that it was my husband he was dealing with. Part II. Let me preface this with ... if you choose this company, I would encourage you to be very specific with them as far as a starting date. If you get a wooden fence from them, you need to factor in some extra costs. This is the first company we've dealth with who's done remodeling (roofing, installing a cellar wall, windows) where we had to go get the permit. Also, figure on another $200 and a lot of work to waterproof/stain it. They were very professional when they installed the fence. They were good at cleaning up afterwards. However, for almost $3,000 we would have preferred a gate latch that was better made. It is a piece of garbage, and now we're looking to replace it which will be additional money and work on our end. It's very difficult to open or close the gate. All in all, I would not recommend this company to a friend who is looking for a fencing company.

Called for an estimate - based on the description, they quoted $750. It was about that (additional $50 was for taxes etc). Among 10-15 fence companies, this one was among the most reasonable for price. They came by three times - once to make an estimate, once to sink the poles into the ground, and once to install the gate. We are mostly happy with the gate. The 2 gates are not flush though, because as they discovered after they sank the poles and the concrete dried, our driveway is at a slight slope. One gate was installed at the highest point on the pole, the other on the lowest point, and it still was not enough to make it flush (by about 2-3 inches). The workers were apologetic, but at that point there wasn't anything they could do without ripping up the poles and starting over. It looks OK, but I feel like it would have been better if they put a level on the driveway before they sank the poles (so they could select a taller pole on one side), or else they could have let me know ahead of time that the driveway is sloped and the gate doors wouldn't be flush with each other. Despite that issue, the quality of the materials they used for the gate are very good, and I can tell it will last for many years. The owner (who did the estimate) told me the materials they use are better than other companies for the same price, and based on what I've seen from other companies, I'm sure this is true. Don't get me wrong - I am very happy with the work that they did, and I understand the gates not being flush is a physical limitation of the landscape - it just would have been nice to know that ahead of time, and I feel like they didn't realize it either since they tried unsuccessfully to get the gates flush with each other after they sunk the poles. I gave them a C for responsiveness - even though they were quite responsive on the initial call and estimate, they rescheduled the installation appointment 3 times (and I had to call to ask what was going on - they did not call me). In the end, there were about four weeks between the initial estimate and the gate install. I was initially under the impression that they would be able to do the job within two weeks. It was one of the reasons I had chosen them over other vendors.

Able to work with my materials. Although site was prepared by me, there was a need for some additional prep that they did without a problem or an increase in price. Site left clean and exactly as I wanted.

I was pleased with this company. Some companies wanted to charge $900 and then there were the other companies who were only interested in selling me all new fencing. I had storm damage to the fence and only wanted a repair and that is exactly what this company gave me.
