Good. On time and on budget.

The experience was wonderful. After 6 months working with two different people to rebuild an old, rotted, front porch, Romeo and his team came in, fixed the mistakes of the last contractor and built a beautiful porch in less than two weeks. And this during heavy snow and temperatures near zero. The work is structurally very fine and it is also artistic and appropriate for the old house. The only thing left is painting which has to wait for warmer weather. We are already discussing future projects.

Contractor was punctual and pleasant. He provided an estimate I thought was rather high, with no detailed breakdown so I could perhaps have the cost lowered by removing some part of the work. He would not give me a breakdown, would not give me any advice about how to lower the cost by removing some work, and even stopped responding to my polite e-mails. This was an Angie's "Big Deal", prepaid, so I was very unhappy by the lack of responsiveness from the contractor and removed myself from the "Deal". Would not use him in the future.

conscientiousMr. Troncone, Romeo answered my call and with in a few days came over to see what needed to be done. My home was built in the 1950s and the majority of homes on my street have the front cement steps as a capstone on a small room in the basement. It needed to be repaired and refinished to make sure that water does not enter the basement. My sun room roof was originally installed badly and that was leaking water. Romeo inspected all and e-mailed me an estimate. Upon my agreeing to the estimate he came over with a contract that gave all the specifics of what materials he would use and the cost for each project. His crew started with the stairs and completed that in one day. The stairs look like new. And no water in the basement. He then proceeded to have his crew work on the roof as soon as the weather cooperated. He had all the materials delivered the day before and then the next day work was started on the roof. Romeo had been interactive in all aspects of the work done and made sure that it was done to my satisfaction. After both projects, his crew cleaned up any materials that were left. I am very happy with the work that was done and would call Romeo if I ever needed other projects done. Romeo and his crew are very conscientious in the work that they do.

Romeo and his assistants did an excellent job overall. They went over the job with me in detail in order to know exactly what I wanted. They made suggestions and we worked out a great solution for a challenging job. They ripped out, removed and replaced an existing sidewalk. They also poured a pad for my AC units. Their work was thorough and they were professional.

First off, he returned our initial call within 2 hours. After discussing what we wanted done, we had an estimate in approx. 3 days. We agreed on that and Romeo was here with the contracts on a Sunday. The next day work was started. The crew was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. Romeo was there daily and gave us constant updates. Upon completion, the clean-up was very good. Romeo did a few "extras" and as he always said, " I'll make it nice for you". We have received numerous compliments on our new-look patio along with the concrete work. After dealing with people who would make an appointment and not show up or call, or ones that would say there was no way to save the patio, Romeo was a revelation. Instead of saying something cant be done, he listened to what we wanted and gave his explanation of how he was going to do the work. We feel we have found someone that is knowledgeable, trustworthy, reasonable and provides quality work. We couldn't recommend Romeo any higher.

He did reply in a timely manner with his estimate, and was very friendly and knowledgeable. However his estimate was way out of line with the others we'd received. I can't comment on quality of service, as we decided to go with another Angie's list contractor.

Romeo did an excellent job. When there were challenges to overcame, he went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with the work performed. Great Service.

My experience was outstanding. I sent Romeo a message on Angie's list requesting an estimate and he got back to me the same day. Replacing a sidewalk sound simple enough but when you have a house that has settled, a fence gate and existing landscaping to work around it was a challenge Romeo Superior was up to and took extra care in clean-up each day. Romeo and his employees were polite, conscientious and paid attention to detail form the slope and appearance of the sidewalk to the color of the grout used to fill in the cracks on the front of our house. I would recommend Romeo Superior Improvements to anyone in need of smaller concrete job done because his work is Superior :-)

Romeo Troncone was pleasant, kind, considerate and respectful throughout ... from my initial contact with him through the job completion. The job required some tricky maneuvering in a confined space ... hard work getting the old concrete out and some precise and accurate detailing putting in the new concrete. Romeo's crew was equally a pleasure to have here at my house. It almost felt like having family members working on my project. Since moving here a few years ago, I have had a lot of work done on my home and have encountered some rather negative experiences. But Romeo's Superior Home Improvement was like a refreshing breath of fresh spring air and has taken the dread out of future home remodeling projects for me. I definitely plan on using this company again in the very near future.

Romeo got in touch with me very promptly after I contacted him via Angie's list to get together and review the work needed at the house. In addition to the work on my list, he made several good and sensible suggestions that I accepted. He promptly scheduled the work, got in done without delay, and did an excellent job. Romeo is very courteous , conscientious, pleasant, and accommodating. I would definitely engage him to do other work and would recommend him to friends and family members with full confidence that they would also be well pleased with Romeo and his Home Improvement business.

I purchased a deal on Angie's list from Romeo's Home Improvement. He responded right away and came out to my house within a week to give me an estimate. I got a quote from him soon after by e-mail and we scheduled a date for him to start the work. He sent one of his guys out to my house to do the work. He was prompt and very professional. He removed old ceiling tiles and trim work in my bathroom and replaced with tongue and groove wood boards and crown molding. He also removed and replaced some rotting wood on my garage. He did an outstanding job and cleaned everything up at the end. I am more than pleased with how everything came out and would recommend Romeo's Superior Home Improvement to anyone. From the time I purchased the deal to when the work was done, it was about a month

Romeo was anxious to work with me to use the materials and design I wanted. Other contractors tried to guide me to their standard materials. Romeo was great to work with and put a lot of effort into getting just the right materials and getting the job done right. The job turned out fantastic. Everyone that steps onto the porch gives us compliments.

Romeo, was on time always , did a professional job, made every change with no hesitation and finished the job ahead of time. It is beautiful. I would not get anyone else to do this kind of work. Romeo was very responsive and professional. He came to do the estimate within a day or two and was ready to begin the job equally quickly. He was very respectful of our property and the jobs were done to our satisfaction. I would definitely trust him to do other jobs in the future.

Romeo far exceeded our expectations for service and quality of his company's work. He provided us with a reasonable estimate and both started and finished the job as scheduled. His two workers -- Charles and Brian -- were exceptionally diligent and talented craftsmen. They even did some repairs that we had not asked them to do. Romeo was at the job every day to make sure everything was proceeding and made sure we were satisfied with the work, which we were. We would recommend Romeo without reservation. Even his spaghetti sauce is top notch!

Our home is now a showplace thanks to Romeo's Superior Home Improvements! We contracted with Romeo to paint the house in three colors, and to repair/replace any broken, rotting or missing wood. Not only was that work done in a professional manner, but Romeo replaced a roof over a bay window that had rotted, at no extra charge. He was on the job site every morning and evening, and when the job was through he inspected the house several times to make sure every area was smoothly painted with no drips. His pricing was very reasonable, especially since four coats of paint were sprayed on the body of the house. Romeo and his crew were courteous to us and to our neighbors, and went out of their way to ensure that neighboring property was left spotless, too. I have used Romeo's for other work, and not only will I use him again in the future, but I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a conscientious, capable contractor.

Romeo was on the job every day. His workers were professional and courteous. Romeo went the extra mile in providing service. He not only sealed the new concrete, but sealed the house perimeter on the driveway side, as well as the whole driveway. He sealed the foundation at the back of the house, too. He even helped my neighbor fix his concrete steps, at no charge! We were so impressed and pleased with the caliber of service, that we hired him to paint our house.

The work went well and we are completely satisfied with the results. There was an issue with the original installation of the bow window, Romeo had the manufacturer's rep come out, give advice on how to fix it and he followed thru with the fix. End result was inspected by manufacturing rep and given their approval. Romeo stood behind his contract and promises and we would recommend him highly.

He always does a really good job and he's very friendly as well. He remodeled a master bathroom and made it easier for my elderly mother to use. While the work was going we found that underneath the cast iron tub were concrete floors and he and his crew had to knock out he floors to redo them. He also fixed a cracking ceiling and installed 15 windows. He stays on the job until he knows it's done right.
