Had to wait a couple of days for new part. yet all in all, very good

Great. Tom had part in his truck. Replaced it. Re-assembled washer. Tested all cycles.

They are “A” all the way. They were very good. I looked a lot of appliance repair from Angie’s List and no one would like to repair it because it was very old and they wanted us to bring it in but Rockelman came and they ordered the parts and they got it right the next week. They were the only ones that had no problem. The cost was very reasonable but I don’t remember. They came out right away.

They were prompt, fast and they did not over charger for a small repair. I would recommend them.

I was very pleased with this company. They were responsive, communicated well the timing of the visits and successfully repaired the oven. I thought the cost was very reasonable and I am happy I do not need to replace the appliance.

Got there on time, discovered problem and had speedy results. Very pleased with their service.

Our call was answered quickly and the service man came as appointed. He knew what he was doing as he found the problem quickly. He repaired the machine, cleaned up the site and wrote the invoice. Everything went without a hitch. I have used them before and recommended them to a friend.

came promptly, $60 to find problem, $50 to install $65 part which included removing the dryer drum. arrived on-time, pleasant and knowledgeable. did a great job and returned dryer to service quickly and neatly

The repairman came and did nothing but hmmmm hawwwww. Older gentlemen that really couldn't be bothered. Complained about everything he had to look at. Finally said and quot;nothing we can do about this fridge?and quot; You need a new one! Crabby crabby crabby! Looked to me like he didn't want to be bothered with anyone. Terrible personality. Never call again!

He came on time. He pulled out my refrigerator and saw where the leak was coming from. He told me that considering my refrigerator was over 20 years old, and the repair would be extensive and expensive, it was not worth fixing. I appreciated his professionalism and honest.

I described the problem and he explained what the issue was and let me know what it would cost to fix it. I already spoke with several people had knowledge of this issue so I knew he wasn't pulling a fast one. He was straight forward and fixed the dryer quickly. I was very happy with his service and would recomend and use him again.

I called him and he set up an appointment for the very next day. I was so pleased with his service that I had him look at my stove which was also giving me problems. He did not have the part with him so he ordered it and came back to fix the stove. Since he looked at the stove after he fixed the frig he did not charge me an extra trip charge when he came back to fix the stove. Again, I was very pleased with his service.

I had moved into a new home. It was a local move, but the movers were not as careful as they could have been and there a few small dents on the refrigerator. I soon realized the refrigerator was not keeping the food cold enough. I called Rockelman Appliance Co. and they were able to send someone out the next day. The serviceman arrived on time, was courteous, went right to work on the refrigerator. He reformed several tests and determined that the damper was closed. He corrected the problem. He did suggest that the refrigerator may need a new control panel if the problem was not corrected, but the refrigerator has work perfectly. I was very happy with the service, the serviceman was prompt, courteous, professional. I had not used Rockelman Appliance before, but would definitely call them again !

This was not the first time a repairman had been to visit my dishwasher. But this guy was the first to discover that the original installation was incorrect. It has to do with the drainage tube between the disposal and the dishwasher. (I have since seen this on the Internet and it appears to be something anybody in the dishwasher installation business SHOULD know.) Anyway, this repairman found the problem, explained the mild it caused and replaced the tube/flexible pipe. I was very impressed. I wish all repair people took the time to investigate the situation as thoroughly as this guy did.

Called to have some one come down. Gentleman came down on 4/30 and ran some tests. He had some difficulty getting access to some of the components because and quot;each refrigerator is a bit different.and quot; Once he had access and ran his tests he narrowed in on the defrost thermostat. BUT unfortunately, due to the design of the refrigerator, he couldn't get to the access panel because it was buried under an inch or two of frost and ice (because it wasn't defrosting). SO, I needed to empty the entire refrigerator and freezer and let all the ice defrost. It wasn't fun, but there was no other alternative. The next day after I mopped up all the water on the floor, I called to arrange for the repair man to come down. The guy came down (not the same guy as the previous day, but it didn't matter). He replaced the broken thermostat. Put the refrigerator back together and made sure it was working. They were very professional and on time. They called ahead of when they were coming. The refrigerator and freezer are working perfectly now.

It went great. No complaints.

My refrigerator stopped cooling Tuesday evening, called Rockelman Appliance Wednesday morning and they came out that afternoon. They asked for the make and model and a few questions about what the fridge was doing on the phone. The repairman did a few quick tests and replaced the compressor starter kit, which he had with him. My refrigerator is working great again, only issue is they charged a service call fee and a labor fee. Maybe this is normal in the business but seemed excessive. The repair only took about 20 minutes.

Our experience with ROCKELMAN APPLIANCE was a pleasant experience. The job was done well, didn't cost an arm and a leg. The price was fair. Our machine has been running well ever since. Over all it was a great experience.

I put a load of laundry in the washer (approx 15 yr old Kenmore) and went out to run an errand. When I returned, the washer was and quot;doneand quot; so I proceeded to put the clothes in the dryer and found they were not damp but loaded with water. I returned the clothes to the washer and advanced the dial to the and quot;spin cycleand quot; and the washer made a ticking/grinding sound and the agitator would not move and the washer did not spin. Nothing. Ugh! (Had to drag wet clothes to local laudromat to spin out -- about 50 lbs of WET laundry). I actually think I may have and quot;overloadedand quot; the washer even though the washer claimed it was and quot;heavy dutyand quot;. Called Rockelman's at approximately 3:45 pm and the woman who answered asked me for the make and model # of the washer, which I provided her. She said a technician would contact me early the next morning to let me know approximately when he would be arriving at my home. As promised, the next morning (approximately 9 am), the technician (Paul) phoned and told me he would be at my house between 1 and 3 pm. At approximately 2:45 pm, Paul showed up and went immediately to work. Because I had provided my make and model # and description of the problem (washer would not spin or agitate, but DID drain), he brought the part needed in with him the first time from his truck. He was very knowledgeable. He took approximately 45 minutes to change the part and put the washer back together. He tested the and quot;spin cycleand quot; to make sure it worked. After testing, he mentioned that my timer on the machine was probably getting gummed up on the cycle I used the most and that eventually I would need a new timer. He said he would call me the next day with the price for the timer. As promised, he called at 9:00 am the next morning with the price of a NEW timer ($124.95) or a rebuilt one (approx $75) and said he would install that for the labor charge of $25.00. He said there would be no and quot;trip chargeand quot; ($59.95). As it was not broken at this time, I opted to wait on that repair. I paid with a check. Bill was as follows: $29.95 -- Coupler Kit 59.95 -- Trip Charge 25.00 -- Labor 10.05 -- Tax $124.95 -- Total Overall, the experience was very nice. Paul was personable and knew what he was doing. He went right to work and arrived in a timely manner. I thought the charges were reasonable ($124.95) as I did not want to pay to purchase a new washer (approximately $600). I would recommend Rockelman's Appliance Service to others.

I own a home in the city of Buffalo,and my upstairs tenant told me of a significant water leakage in her refrigerator. Appliances are included in the rental of the apartment. When I saw the problem I needed someone to review what is the cause of the water collection inside the refrigerator. This had occurred before with a previous tenant, and a simple defrosting is all I did. The tenant was able to continue doing so when leakage became apparent. I needed to know with my new tenant works who works long hours and is very reliable with proper upkeep and rent payment if a solution can be found or if a new refrigerator is in order. After reviewing Angie's List of recommendations I called this company for service.

I was very pleased. I called on May 29th and was able to get an appointment the next day in the morning. I asked that I be called and given a time window. The serviceman called the next morning and said he would arrive between 10:30 and noon and he arrived about 11:30.

Watch out the devil is in the details! When I spoke to the owner I told him I needed both my washer and dryer looked at. The trip charge was $59.95, however I wasn't told that to look at another appliance there would be an additional charge of $30. In my case the second appliance was the washer. The top of a spring that connects to the tub had rusted off. Paul just rebent it and reattached it. When I was presented with the bill I questioned the additional labor charge of $25. Paul said that it was for the reattachment of the spring. I said I thought that that was what the additional $30 was for after all he made it seem like he just threw it on especially since I wasn't asked if I wanted him to fix it (he asked for my approval before he fixed the dryer). I also told him the last repair that I had the trip charge came off of the labor charge. Paul informed me that that was just a scam that some companies used to con people into thinking that the had a deal. After Paul left I called the owner Thomas King to complain and he informed me that my bill was correct and that the $25 was for all of the labor involved in both the washer and dryer. Tom gave me this explanation without speaking to Paul. So yes the work got done but I feel like I have been ripped off and will not be using them again.

I called them on saturday morning. They came a few hours later to assess the job, provided a temporary solution, ordered a part and finished the job on Monday afternoon.

It went very well. He even suggested what we could do to keep the pan in place.

My refrigerator was leaking water from the freezer compartment and building up in the fridge. They were able to replace the part even though I did not know the model number when I called for repair. The service person cleaned up the ice and water build-up and my appliance was like new.
