Description of Work: Rainbow Plumbing fixed an in-wall pipe that had frozen and burst during frigid temps this winter. They were prompt, courteous, and efficient. Would highly recommend.

+ -1 moreUpdating my November review...my bathroom sink leaked like crazy, found that out the hard way a few weeks after work was completed. Fortunately I am handy and fixed it myself. They obviously did not check for leaks before they left. However, the more serious offense was that he stole my 4' copper pipe that was removed from the old hot water tank! Makes me wonder what else he stole from my basement without my knowledge.

+ -1 moreAfter Kevin's visit to take care of the leak, he called me and said my mother had shut all the water off in the entire house. When the water was turned on, there was no leak. Kevin tightened up a few things and observed the toilet as he flushed it several times. Still no leak. Kevin refused payment for the visit, stating he most likely will be there some time in the future and I can pay him then for services rendered. He did not want to be paid for not doing anything. But, he did travel to the house, inspected the toilet, and did work on it. I insisted that I needed to pay him and he refused, again. He is a blessing. If you are on the Niagara frontier and need plumbing done, Rainbow Plumbing is the one to call. I never met the man face to face and, if I ever do, I will gratefully shake his hand.
Description of Work: Since I live out of town, I asked Kevin to check a toilet that was leaking in the main bathroom at my mother's home. I saw the leaking toilet while visiting my mom, but had to travel on business and couldn't stay to fix it. It appeared to be leaking at the base of the toilet and the flapper valve was not properly shutting the water off. Kevin was very concerned about making sure he followed up and connected with both my mother and me.

+ -1 moreThey showed up on time, immediately connected the new line with our existing pipe. The line was extended to a hole drilled in the floor. A valve was installed and it was finished in less than one hour.

Description of Work: My toliet was examined in detail to determine if it could be repaired. It was decided that the toliet needed to be replaced and a model was recommended, picked up and installed right away. The toliet has worked perfectly!!

Description of Work: Assessment of problems with my toliet. Determined that I needed to replace it. A toliet was recommended to me and within an hour it was purchased and installed. The plumber was excellent. I have already recommended him to a friend who has always done his own plumbing but is getting older. He was very pleased as well.
