Installer did good job, but cost was over $100 more than competitor for same model. Also - charged additional labor to install 2x6 cross brace that should be part of the installation.

Excellent, the technician was professional and executed his duties very well.

They did a good job. They came down and quickly fixed it. It took about an hour. The worker was excellent and left the area very clean.

Was told new door would be installed in 3-4 weeks. Heard nothing at 3-week mark. Still heard nothing at 4-week mark, so I had to call them. Did not appreciate that they never called, forcing me to call them. Got no apology or explanation for the lack of a call, just - "We'll be there on Friday." New door looks good and installation appears to be quality job.

Unfortunately I had to leave my mom's before Precision arrived. The guy told my mother he could fix it but that she really needed a new opener. My mother uses her garage about twice a month. Even if she did need a new opener she didn't need the high end one she was presented with. She's 82 years old and was alone with this transaction and Precision definitely took advantage of her.

I installed a garage door opener on a door that had been out of service for a long time. Precision door tightened the spring and repaired everything they could. Some parts were not salvageable due to heavy rust, but the door is working fine after the service.

Overall - I am satisfied with the quality of the work and my garage door closes completely now - I just wish I hadn't had to pay additional $$$ for this to happen. I felt like the "tune-up" special was basically a trick or a ploy to get a service man out to my house and then up-sell me. I probably could have called direct and saved myself the money I spent on Angie's List. For my first Angie's List experience, it wasn't great. The man who did the work was nice and did a good job but I just feel like overall I got taken for a ride.

They could have given more suggestions. The price is okay. The package sometimes go lower to $79 or $78. By the time I booked it, it was $99. It was okay and acceptable.

After a safety check of my overhead door components it was determined that many of the parts were worn and needed replacement. One of the springs was actually broken causing my opener to strain while opening the door. Rob was excellent! He explained everything to me before performing any work so I had a clear understanding of the service options and type of parts to be installed. Now we have the peace of mind of a safe and usable garage door for many years.

The guy was honest and upfront about my situation. He was thorough and knowledgeable and showed me the break in the door.

They were very prompt and courteous, They gave me three different options on what would be the most cost effective for me.

Pros: Salesman was very thorough and the only estimate I received that brought samples of the different gutter types. They were fast, efficient and cleaned up well. Everything looked great when they finished and it was definitely a quality job from installation to product quality. One of the crew even used an extra gutter piece to prop up a bird house for me when I asked to save it. Cons: I couldn't give an A because I was given an installation date and they didn't show up. There was some miscommunication. Office told me one thing and the sales rep apologized profusely, but gave me a different reason for the mix-up. Also, had to correct the installers about changes to the previous gutters I had requested with the sale rep. They were quick to fix them though when I pointed them out. Wish there was an A- (Oh, there was one installer that used the "F" word too loudly and too much. Lost a point on professionalism.) I had one higher and a few lower estimates, but the service and quality were worth the price and I am satisfied with my choice.

Contracted with Precision Door on 27 Sept 2016 to replace our 30 year old garage door. We live in a condo complex. Asked Precision Door to get the insurance liability binder to the condo association. 3 weeks later, they haven't. Contract was for new garage door to be installed in 3 weeks. That would be 18 Oct 2016. How we are told it will not be until Novembers. Liar liar pants on fire.

Fortunately, there was no significant damage done. Rob made some adjustments in addition to the tune up. He was very personable and knowledgeable. Answered all my questions as well as gave me some maintenance tips. He is available for service calls on Saturdays. Exceptional service and product.
