Description of Work: Used the Angies List promo for this company for a $75 roller replacement and door tune up. The tech tried to sell me a new door tension assembly for $600, told me that I didn`t have "Safety Cables" therefore could not make any adjustments other then installing the rollers due to his concern for a cable letting go. I had this garage built including the installation of the door assembly with no concerns from previous providers. AS it is now, the door is harder to lift then before the installation of the new rollers. FYI, the door is not a powered lift, just manual.

It disappoints me when customers are hostile when we are giving free advice. The package your purchased from us was for new rollers which are the best in the industry and a lubrication. A majority of the parts on your door were in poor condition. It is our responsibility to tell you this along with our recommendation.

Description of Work: Purchased the garage door tune up with new rollers since we were having trouble with a garage door that wouldn't stay closed. The tune up ended up not correcting the problem and we had to spend an additional $150. Probably a fair deal, but they were dealing with my elderly mother and I am not sure if I had been there if I would have spent the extra money.

I'm sorry you must have the wrong company. We have never had this address in our system for an appointment. We do answer our phones 24/7 with live operators. If you would like an appointment you can call anytime to schedule. We do not call customers for appointments unless they have ordered services from us.

Description of Work: I took advantage of the overhead door "tune-up" wondering if another set of eyes and hands could cause the door to be quieter when opening and closing. Unfortunately it didn't. As the door was less than a year old it was worth a try.

New doors are typically quiet. Perhaps the motor that is lifting the door is making noise. It may be time to replace it with something of a higher quality. I would recommend a direct current unit. They are often much quieter than the alternate current units and work out of the same outlets.
