He showed up on time and on the day promised, was very courteous and did a very nice job.

They did a good job and it seems fine. There's a little confusion of getting back to us because the website told us that they will get a hold of us but that's not what they understood.

They were great. They did a great job and it was reasonably priced. Unfortunately I had to get a new garage door opener.

Terrible. the last straw was when the tech came out and told me they were more expensive because they were a better company, and I quote, "not like *&*$&." I wont mention the company he said as that is very unprofessional. Needless to say I called almost all the other angies list recommended contractors and ALL of them were half the price of the original estimate I was given.

Very pleased with Ryan Buil, the installer. He was delayed due to previous job before mine but he called twice and kept me abreast of his arrival time. Delay was only 40 min. and not excessive for my daily plans. Asked about new replacement of both doors due to age of garages (~30-40 yrs.) and cost of repairs. Cost effective to consider NEW garage doors for the price, improved energy efficiency rating (9.1); steel vs. plastic doors; color coordinated doors to match exterior. These were all potential pluses and worth the investment as home upgrades that will last for years to come. I plan to purchase new doors by late Summer or early Fall. I highly recommend Precision Door Service of Buffalo to anyone requiring PM and/ or garage door repair service. Be sure you ask for Ryan Buil. He was extremely knowledgeable, focused and efficient in his work performance. He even took the old rollers for disposal. It was a pleasant experience from service to repair to diagnostics and sales. The service was very good. I know that he was pushing for a much larger job. The price was fine.

Our technician, Ryan, was professional. He wasted no time replacing the seal and rubber, and doing an inspection. I received an electronic invoice, along with a copy of the insepection and recommendations. I would do business with them again.

He pulled-out a sample set of demo panels that match the existing ones perfectly even though they're 12 years old. He then provided a proposal and insurance just sent us reimbursement. Unless something comes-up I will probably be calling them to provide the work.

It went really well! They fixed the problem that I had, which was a very loud and questionable lift motor on my double garage door. They were very punctual, knowledgeable, and I'd highly recommend them. The price was reasonable and I was satisfied with the quality of the work. I was very happy with the tips they gave me, too, which will probably save me money in the future.

The guys arrived on time. The door was replaced. I was given information on the care of door along with life time warranty. Based upon my experience with precision door, I highly recommend their service.

This is a good company and you should not hesitate to work with them if they are offering a product or service that you require. The cable connecting the spring system to my garage door broke, leaving the door askew and partially open on one side. My first concern was to get the door closed (I had the cars out of it, fortunately). I called two companies that are well reviewed on Angie's list, one of them Precision Door. I liked both representatives, and the other company quoted a lower price and at first I was inclined to go with them. However when the Precision rep came out, he was able to get my door closed (no charge), so I felt I should hire them for the fix/replacement. The rep also pointed out that they used coated springs and generally high-quality hardware that helps to justify the price difference (perhaps that's true; I didn't get this kind of detail from the rep of the first company). Wanting to get it moving, I signed an order for a door (the rep thought I might be able to get by with just a repair to the cable, but the tracks had become misaligned and the door sustained minor damage, so I wanted to get it replaced. The point here being that he didn't pressure me toward getting a replacement). The new door would be double sided and insulated, which was a big step up in quality from my original door. After placing the order I looked more carefully at the brochure, and found that the door wasn't quite the model I had expected, but instead had a lower level of insulation (polystyrene instead of blown-in polyurethane). They didn?t represent it falsely, it was just an honest miscommunication. But when I was comparing price I was thinking it was polyurethane, and I preferred that, so I was disappointed. Moreover the type of insulation I wanted wasn?t offered in their brochures, so I decided I couldn?t get a door from them. I called the company to exercise my option to cancel within a day or so after signing the order. I communicated this to a staff person, and shortly thereafter they went ahead an canceled the charge on my card, no questions asked. I wanted to explain to the owner my reason for doing this, so I called to let him know it wasn?t due to any problem with the company, but that they just weren?t offering the type of door I wanted. He said that they happened to have just negotiated with the manufacturer to start providing the polyurethane-insulated door, and it was too bad that I hadn?t known that (thinking I had moved on to another company, but I hadn't by then). The price was higher, but he was agreeable to reducing it to make it competitive with the other prices I was quoted. I was satisfied with that deal, and was happy to enter in a new order with them. Later I called to make a small change in the order (choosing a new window style) and they were ok with that. After a couple weeks the door was ready and they came out to install it. Two technicians did the job, which took about 5 hours. They were very friendly and the job went smoothly. The next day I had a question about the way the door was operating, and another technician came out and made some small adjustments and answered my questions. Again, very friendly and easy to work with. The door has been working great and I'm quite happy with it. Overall working with the management and the technicians from the company was a good experience. They are honest and do quality work.

There were no observed issues with making the new door operate smoothly and efficiently. There was no wasted time once the installers came on site. It was obvious that they perform this type of work everyday and are very well versed in the proper installation procedures. Once the weatherstrips were installed on the outside of the frame the job looked very neat. The installers hauled away my old door and cleaned up the garage at completion of the work. I am very satisfied with the investment. The owner of Precision Door Service emailed a link to a YouTube video that showed how criminals can break into overhead garage doors with motor driven openers with only a bent coat hanger. At first I was shocked that this type of video was on the Internet, but then realized that the criminal element in society already know about this trick and at least the video is useful to the general public for theft prevention. I had removed the manual release cord from my garage door opener when my nieghbor's snow thrower was stolen from his garage. Now, I shortened the metal lever that manually releases the garage door opener so that a coat hanger can't hook it and release the tension on the door that keeps it closed from the outside. Now a criminal would have to smash the door to get my snowblower rather than just using a coat hanger.

Replaced old garage doors with brand new ones. The installation is still pending, but the interaction with the company has been great. They responded to my initial inquiry within 24 hours and came out within a few days. After we placed the order, they worked with us on the pricing. Installation is scheduled for next week.

We just purchased the house and, during inspection, we noted that the garage door opener had no floor sensors and was quite old. We scheduled to have a quote done for a new opener, also planning to have them look at the rollers, etc. They were scheduled to show up between 1PM and 5PM. They called at 1230PM and said they would arrive at 1PM. They were right on time. They quickly assessed the situation with our garage. Several options were available for the opener, all costing within the ball park of my expectations. After I asked them to examine the rollers and so forth, Ryan pointed out the wear and tear and I asked what options they had. At no point did I feel like he was pushy. I ended up going with their "rebuild" package which replaced the rollers, cables, springs, and some other hardware. The opener was roughly $600 and the "rebuild" was roughly $700, which included all parts and labor. The work took them about 3 hours. They worked quickly and clearly were experienced. They were very friendly and polite. I would highly recommend this company for garage door work.

Excellent service. Fast and polite. Suggested future issues to look for but didn't do that "you need it now and you're in luck because we happen to have a special going" thing. Just good, old-fashioned professional service. What a concept.

They did it on time, competently and at a fair price. And they did it in miserable weather.

It was done on one of the coldest days of the year. the job took |two technicians about 45 minutes. It was rather expensive for my budget, |I would have done myself if I had an assistant (and on a warmer day) but it needed to get done quicker than I was able to take care of it.

My garage door failed to lift this morning. Checked it out and found a broken spring. Called Precision based on the reviews from other members. Within an hour a service tech called and told me when to expect him. Service tech replaced springs and lubricated hinges and rollers. I declined other maintenance work because I intend to replace the door within the next three to five years. When I do replace it I will call Precision. I want to note that the day service was done was when the snow was blowing and it was generally a cruddy day. I am very happy with how fast Precision was able to accommodate me so I could get my car out of the garage and get to work.

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List and their services worked out fine. They had a special where they come out and adjust the door, and they did that. They were very courteous and very satisfactory. I did not have any problems scheduling. They were very prompt. They came out and they performed what they had indicated. We are very satisfied. They charged me what they said they were going to charge. They were very professional. Their quality was good. I have no complaints at all with them.

They put in a new door for me and it works great.

Bill G arrived on time, with new tech in training, both were very professional. We discussed the work request/order and they had everything done in short period of time. I will definitely be using them again in the future to install the garage door opener.
