 + -1 moreFrom start to finish, open-ended communication! Jim and his daughter listened carefully to all of my questions and concerns, and resolved every issue to our complete satisfaction!
Description of Work: Jim was the creator of a fabulous plaster-texture on an existing wall! Part of the project was the installation of tile, meticulous painting of all cabinetry and walls, lots of attention to details!! I had ordered a granite counter-top, sink with all the bells and whistles. Jim installed the sink,garbage disposal, and I we are very satisfied. A strength of Phoenix construction is their creativity , and are very concerned with the concerns of the customer they were out to please us, not the themselves!

 + -1 more. Was very pleased that everyone showed up when thay said they would. Everyone was very hard working. No extended delays Did beautiful work. Would recommend highly.
Description of Work: bathrooms in both flats gutted/ remodeled new plumbing for both bathrooms and kitchen, also in basement kitchen in upper flat new kitchen sink and cabinet. Tiles put on counter. Lower flat all new counters,sink, floors lower flat painted all rooms except the bedrooms. ceiling in livingroom completely fixed crown molding installed in living room front room new ceiling lights, hardwood floor installed new door installed in kitchen. tiles installed on back hall levels, also back hall was painted

Description of Work: Phoenix Construction partially remodeled our kitchen and two bathrooms. In the bathrooms they removed tile, flooring , the vanities, sink and toilet and replaced them with new.. Excellent job on laying tile and painting, as well as installing new sinks, vanities, toilets etc. In both bathrooms we did not replace the shower or tub, but we did have them install new shower doors. Phoenix also designed frames for our mirrors in each bathroom. In the kitchen they reconstructed a cupboard, changed the lighting, both overhead and under counter, installed all of our new appliances, including the change from electric to gas stove, and oversaw the installation of our granite countertops. Jim Marniani, the owner of Phoenix Construction, was responsive, had great design ideas and communicated well. The three people who worked with him were great too. They were very open to discussion and communicated clearly and were very easy to have in the house. They cleaned up each day and worked hard to minimize the amount of time we were without access to either of the bathrooms or the kitchen. I recommend Phoenix Construction without reservation.

 + -1 moreApparently never coming back to replace the one tile, fix the multi-colored grout (which is supposed to be only one color), or return my garage door transmitter and house key! They were more expensive than our other estimates. They cleaned up after themselves most of the time. Would love reimbursement for the locks having to be changed and the new transmitter. Their craftmanship is fine, it's the details you have to keep on them about.
