Description of Work: We needed to replace all our windows (current windows original 50 years). We had contacted another Company. While at the Homeshow in Hamburg we talked to Pella about giving us a quote. Frank came out last night for a 5:45 appt. right on time. Since we had already received another quote we figured an hour and a half tops. Frank left at 9:15, left no question unanswered never did he appear that he was in a hurry to leave. Not knowing if he had a sale or not he was very patient. When all was said and done my wife and I were surprised with the quote considering we had one to compare it to. Expecting Pella to be of high quality we expected a higher quote when in fact it was within $100 of the previous quote. Frank was outside at 9:30 taking pictures. Needless to say he left with a signed contract. We asked if we could extend installation out for 3 months. This was no problem. Frank did a great job of representing Pella. If first impressions count, we can't wait for the windows. Thank you.

+ 0 morewent extremely well. very professional, very clean, very quick. only problem was that they didn't re-encase the alarm wiring inside the moulding but left them it out.

Description of Work: Their representative was very helpful & very responsive in helping to determine our needs & putting together a plan & an estimate. Their windows appear to be of excellent quality. However they were also very expensive so have put off the project for now. May revisit at a later date.

Their responsiveness and punctuality were very good. Their professionalism was excellent. We'll definitely use them again. We're hoping to do some more windows this year.

+ -1 moreFirst project went great! We are so pleased, we went back to Pella and Patrick Sullivan to help us this year with upstairs windows. First project cost approximately $11,000.
Description of Work: About a year ago Pella replaced downstairs windows in our house, installed a box bay in dining room, enlarged living room windows and family room windows. We are so pleased with the results and work done for us and in particular, the service we got from Patrick Sullivan. He is terrific; really listened to what we wanted, made helpful suggestions and tried to save us money where he could. A great salesman. This year we are working with him again to replace windows upstairs and looking forward to the results.

+ -1 moreI didn't know a contractor so I went to the Pella Window Store for help. They were very helpful and gave me the name of a contractor who could do the work. The contractor was very responsive and he ordered the windows directly from Pella. They are a bit pricey but of very good quality.
Description of Work: I had two custom windows (quarter round)which rotted out and had to be replaced.

While more expensive than competing products the quality is excellent and the installation completely painless. The installers came exactly when scheduled and finished exactly when promised. The house was left in exactly the same condition when the work was complete. The installers were extremely professional and couldn't have done a better job. We are extremely happy with the windows.

+ -1 moreThe person who was to give the estimate showed up 20 minutes late. He walked through our hoe, measured the windows and doors, sat down at this computer and eventually gave us the estimate. He never explained or demonstrated the product. Never explained any options. We had to ask about warranty and estimated time of start and completion of the job. The whole experience was a turn off. We hired an other company. He did not seem interested in getting the job.

+ -1 moreRichard was anxious to come and give us an estimate. We only wanted four windows replaced. When he arrived he absolutely insisted on measuring every window since we, in his opinion, "will need to replace all of them down the line." He was very friendly and seemed to be interested in our preferences. We waited several weeks for the estimate. Then, I called and left him a message requesting the estimate. We never heard from him again. He apparently did not want or need our business.

Description of Work: I ordered custom made windows and french doors to replace those from the sunroom of my 100 year old house. I am very satisfied with the doors and windows. They are close to being exact replicas of the originals- only they are weather tight and function properly. They were expensive- but, you get what you pay for!

There was no pressure to "buy up" from our first choice, but that's what we wound up doing after placing an order and then changing our minds. There was no problem with that. The installers were on time, friendly, polite, and painstaking with their work. We're very satisfied with the product and the people associated with the Pella store.
Description of Work: We replaced a 35-year-old kitchen window with a Pella ProLine 2-wide casement unit. We considered a number of other companies and less expensive choices in windows, but after a lot of online research and based on our previous experience with Pella replacements, we went with them again.

+ -1 moreThe salesman, the people in the showroom and the installation crew were all great. Windows were just as described. Price was not cheap, but we did not go with a bargain window. Stain and trim matched existing trim perfectly. The crew took 6 days to complete all work. Left the house as clean as they found it everyday. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for new or replacement windows.
