James Naples Jr. sent out his guy Mark to handle the jobs.  James is very prompt and professional in responding to inquiries and getting the job done.  His guy Mark came over first to properly flash my portico - prompt and courteous.  Later when I needed gutter repairs, Mark was out again prompt and professional to fix my gutter issues.  And finally, when I need 3 of my flat roofs sealed, Mark was at my place promptly and perform the jobs flawlessly.  I'd definitely call them anytime for any roof related job.  Quick, personal, and professional service everytime!

The roofing guys came talked briefly to me and said wait I'll get you a quote. He walked around my house went to the van and I waited for him to come back and talk to me about price. 15mins later I realized they left without saying anything. It has almost been a week and I haven't heard or received a quote. With this level of poor communication I will not be using this company.

This was a very steep roof 2-1/2 stories up.  They provided a great quote and left the job site very clean (you always find a few errant nails around though)

We had Naples complete a tear off and replacement roof (apprx. $8000) on our North Buffalo home in 2007. They did a nice job in a timely fashion for an excellent price. Though the roof provided us good service and we did not experience any leaks, the roof did have an area with a plywood/buckling issue (pointed out to us by another contractor) in 2013. We were told by other contractor this was not abnormal, and does occasionally happen, but we would need to get it serviced to prevent further problems.
Right away we were worried that it would be a problem to get a company back to service this so many years later, but after one call to Naples Roofing, Mr. Naples himself was there within a day, and just one day after that he had a crew arrive to service the work.
Naples Roofing provided a timely, helpful and supportive response, and stood behind their workmanship and product. Though we did have problems with the original product, no job is ever guaranteed error-proof, and this company can be trusted to provide a quality product, that, most importantly, is backed by Mr. Naples for years to come.
A company that stands behind their work is exceptionally important when choosing a contractor, and you can rest assured that Naples Roofing will do just that. Thank you for providing reliable service and customer support!

I though the job went very smoothly, Everything was as expected and when we had the problem with the dust in our crawlspace and the shingles that blew off, he corrected the problem within 24 hours.

James Naples had his guys show up, remove the deck and railings and did a good job cleaning up the mess.
The deck and railings were installed and it went downhill from there.
As far as waterproofing, this is a multi-layer surface that would seem to seal quite nicely. However, as the tenants soon found out, all of the patio furniture on the porch was sinking into the deck! Instead of a hard epoxy surface (that I had requested), Naples applied a spongy rubber finish. When it is warmed up by the sun, you can push your finger into the surface...it's that soft!
Plus the tenants were complaining that the granular material imbedded in the new deck was coming off and being tracked into the house scratching the new hardwood floors. To top it off, the installation was horrible! They removed pieces of siding and never replaced them. They splashed a tar-like material all over the siding. The seams and corners were patches randomly placed...looked terrible. Again, this was going to be used for entertaining...not some deck that would never be used or seen.
The railings were horrible! There were runs, bubbles, drips, and sagging paint everywhere. The paint was soft and gooey even after it was installed. There was even hair and dust embedded into the paint! But wait! I had requested powder-coat not paint!
Naples agreed to have it fixed, but unfortunately, it would be about five weeks before we got the railings re-installed.
Finally got the railings back and they looked great. However, within three weeks all of the welded areas started to rust!
I was then told that the type of welding material used could be painted but not properly powder-coated. Naples had these railings built and should have chosen the appropriate materials for the application. Naples and his fence guy agreed to meet with us to resolve this but each time a meeting was scheduled they never showed up. They had their money...see ya!
James Naples talks a good game, but that is about the extent of it. I can't meet with them, and they no longer return my calls or emails.
Check around, search the reviews...you will see there are many others who have also had bad experiences with Naples.
This used to be a good business until James Naples took it over from his father. Obviously Jr. does not follow the same standards that his father had!

I contacted Naples Roofing in the summer of 2011 for a bid on my roof. James the owner came out and measured the house while I was at work and emailed me his price. Than this past summer, 2012 I still hadn't picked a company so I contacted Naples again. The owner told me the price from last year would increase a little, which I knew would be the case. I told him I wanted his company to do the work but needed to meet with him first. He told me he could come out to the property on the following saturday but never showed up. A few weeks later I received an apology, was told he was very busy but could meet me on this saturday. Again he never showed up or called until weeks later. This cycle repeated itself for over 3 months. When he finally came over in late October we went over the project, he remeasured the home, I picked out colors, we both signed the contract and I took a loan from the bank. The day the work was to begin no one showed up and I received no call until a few days later from the owners father. The first thing I was told was Were not doing your roof, you should find somebody else. He went on to explain that they had mismeasured my house on both occasions. My roof was 700 sq ft bigger than they thought. I was told a few times that I should probably find someone else. when I mentioned I had a signed contract it was Insinuated that I knew what I was doing and was trying to pull a fast one on their roofing company, The conversation ended with the agreement that the owner James would call me and someone would be out to my home the next day to measure once more and meet with me. AGAIN NO ONE SHOWED UP OR CALLED. I had to call the owner the following week. He said he felt bad and would give me a new bid that would be at cost. He called back and said they were no longer 700 sq ft off but 900 sq ft. He than over charged me for those 900 sq ft. The original bid when Naples was going to make money on me was for $4.15 a sq ft for 2000 sq feet. NOW THEY WERE DOING IT AT COST AND CHARGED ME $4.55 A SQ FT for the additional. THEY RAISED THE PRICE! If they had given me a real bid it would have been one of the highest ones by far. So they lied and wasted 4 months of my time. Its too late for another company and I now have to complete the project in the spring. I have no idea how their work turns out, it may be good but the whole thing was awful, time consuming and unprofessional. I would stay away at all costs and I tell everyone I come across
