Called in the AM on Memorial Day and Miles said he would be there at 2:00 pm and showed up on time. He was at the house for two hours and the repair was satisfactory
Description of Work: My airconditioner was not working .Miles came as promised and the repairs were done in a timely fashion. he has also done other work for us and ti has always been satisfactory

He didn't center the radiators under the windows. He spilled radiator fluid on our white rug. He quoted us a price and when the work was done, it was 1000 dollars more than what he said.
Description of Work: He came to put in new radiators.

THis customer before i started hads drastic unevenness of heat in her house because someone had tried to balance the heat load with copper fin tube where radiators had frozen and split open causing damage that was rectified by others before she owned it.I salvaged cast iron radiators from a second hand store .they looked kind of beat so he agreed to pay me to have them sandblasted at thier expense . I primed them as soon as possible to prevent rust .if you have had cast iron sandblasted see how quick it rusts. exact replacements where not available in relationship to size . II got as close as I could.My son and I reworked the starting nipples on the radiators to accomodate the size of pipe coming out of the floor. some of the radiators were assembled over 100years ago which made changing the starting nipples very difficult. one of the radiators weighed in at 790 lbs which i made a ramp to get into the house and a hand truck to move it around on . it had enouh output to heat her enclosed porch in winter.unfortunatly the systems manifold did not enough water to handle the loadof the porch radiator . i had to put it on its own tributary and install a pump for it Mr.Driscoll knew about the additional charges of only $1000 .I feel I earned every additional cent. I deducted $150 from my bill to pay for the cleaning of the carpeting
