These people are wonderful to work with and very friendly. This is a father and son team, they give you the quote and they do the installation. There are no surprises, with the person who comes out to give you the quote and the install crew that might look like a motorcycle gang. They have been in business since 1979 and have a labor warranty of 5 years, that beats all of the completion hands down. Every time I contacted them they were right there to answer my call or responded in a very timely manner. Unlike some of the competition . They gave me a detailed explanation of the 2 types of furnaces I was interested in and the benefits of each to help me decide. I picked the 95% Heil forced air single stage burner, HE design without the variable stage motor. I was contacted the day before the install to confirm and they showed up on time the following morning with everything they needed to complete the installation. They do their own sheet metal work on site. Jim has a large trailer equipped with a metal brake so no need to run back and forth to a shop to make the box to connect the old with the new. Every furnace I?m told is a custom installation. They have the operation down to a science. These two men are very competent and I would be happy to hire them again for anything I needed in the heating and cooling department.

I called them on a Saturday, they came on Monday morning to evaluate the problem and started work that afternoon. The work was to be finished on thursday, but due to a scheduling misunderstanding, it was rescheduled for Monday morning. However, because our home was quite cold on friday night, I called them on Saturday morning to see if they could do the job that day. They graciously moved things around, worked all day and finished the installation that day, thus restoring heat to our home.

Jim and his son arrived at the scheduled time. Explained again, as he did on the day of estimate, all that was entailed in the project. I found Jim and his son to be very neat and efficient and very personable. They were available and ready to answer questions we had along the way. They were at our home 9-5 every day until the project was completed, so it seemed to me they were not the type of company that would be doing more than one job at a time, and I appreciated their attention to our project. I am glad we went with JP Heating. We will call them again without any hesitation. We are enjoying the heating system. It is perfect for our home with a very nice even heat. I could not be more pleased with the whole experience.

The repair tech was at our home for about two hours going over both units. He was very methodical in his work and both units have been working great since the service.

While other contractors said we had to replace the central AC system for thousands of dollars, this company simply repaired it and it has been working great! It is awesome to see honest people out there who aren't out to just to take your money. I will continue to use JP Heating and Cooling and recommend it to everyone out there.

When the father and son arrived they checked my a/c and it was low on r22. They recharged and it worked fine. I said "are you going to find and repair the leak" and the reply was leaks are hard to find and I should get a whole new unit if the coolant leaks out again. I asked how much and was given a estimate of $2400 fo a new unit. My unit is 15 years old and I thought to myself "why can't they just repair the leak?" my unit is not very old. I paid the $160 fee and they left. Within a week it all leaked out again. I got a second opinion from another company and they found the leak and repaired my a/c for around $400. Thes JP people were going to rip me off for a whole new unit when the a/c was repairable. I would not recommend these guys to my worst enemy. They probably rip off old ladies by selling new units when the old one could be repaired...... Update: The way I remember it I was told leaks are hard to find and I should get a new unit. There was not multiple repairs as stated in the response from JP. There was only one, a valve replacement.

I called them becasue they had good ratings on Angies list. They called and left a message that they were going to be late but never showed, when I got back in the house and heard the message that they were going to be late (it was a nice warm day and was in the yard) I called them back, they were 1 hr and 1/2 late at this point, they said they didn't come by because I didn't answer the phone. Apparently you are supposed to be glued to your phone and not do anything eles around your house when they are going to come over.

The owner and son arrived at my house within 10 minutes of the promised time. They came in explained what they were going to do. They checked my duct work, cleaned the furnance, checked my hot water tank, and cleaned my A/C unit. We discussed options if I wanted to replace my furnance / AC unit in the future. There was no hard sell, and even though my unit is probably ready to be replaced they believed I can still get some use out of it. They were very professional, clean, and knowlegable. They took their time explaing what they were doing, and what to look for. We will definitely be calling JP Heating & Cooling for all of our "Air Comfort" needs in the future.

Love, love, love this company! They were responsive, on time, incredibly pleasant and diligent. Two techs were here an hour and my total cost with parts & labor was only $103! They really seemed to take pride in their level of service; I would call them again in a heartbeat.

I chose to use them because they were rated decently on Angie's List and because I knew they were a small family operation. They were local, and they could come out when I called. They were prompt and did a good job. They were fairly priced and certainly not overpriced. They were excellent. I have their card and I had them put their sticker on the furnace.

This was a father and son operation. They arrived promptly and were very courteous and professional. They explained the problem in a way that I could easily understand it. They seemed very knowledgeable and did not try to fix a problem I didn't have or sell me something I didn't need. They came across to me as honest and fair. Nice job, guys! If I have any further problems I will definitely call them again in the future and will recommend them to friends and family.

Simple fix. Gas line clogged with dirt. They broke the igniter element or whatever it's called during reassembly and replaced free. Father and son team. The son did the work. The father supervised and was very personable. We had a nice chat about whatever. Update: I used this company for an A/C unit repair and they tried to sell me a new unit for $2400 instead of fixing the leak. I got a second opinion and this other company (Solly Industries) found and fixed the leak for $400. I would not trust these people at JP. They probably are ripping off little old ladies who don't know any better and who trust these guys.

They were professional, knowledgeable,careful and efficient. I would definitely recommend this company.

This is a father & son company, the two of them did all the work on my house. When I got the estimate they explained the products and process clearly and answered all my questions. They also gave me a options of which furnace and air conditioner to get, and made a recommendation of what they thought would be the most cost effective. Their price was in the middle of the estimates I got. I was concerned when they asked for a 50% deposit with the signed contract, however they did not cash the deposit check until they began the work. The whole job took about 3 days, they did not rush through it. And they came back the next morning to adjust the air conditioner (I haven't used the furnace yet.) Because of my home configuration the only way the ducts could be cleaned was to remove the furnace and air conditioner. It worked very well to have one company do all the work. They left the work area clean, maybe even cleaner than they found it. They removed all the old equipment and debris. However, they didn't replace the furniture they moved to the garage, I think they just forgot and I didn't ask them to put the things back.

Noticed the furnace wasn't working at about 8:00 PM. Searched Angie's List and found this company by 8:30 Jim Sr. was very nice on the phone. Jim Jr. showed up by 9:00, and we had heat by 9:30. He was friendly and professional and couldn't have been nicer or more efficient. I'm delighted with the service.

They were on time on both occasions and they did a nice job of cleaning up after themselves. Their pricing was also fair. It was a pretty fast installation and we are happy with the out come.

The people from J P Heating were hard workers who got the job done quickly. They were careful of our furniture and belongings and cleaned up well after themselves. The new system works just fine. We felt their pricing was fair for the work and would definitely recommend them to others.

J P Heating is excellent and very punctual. This is a great local contractor. He always stands behind his work. I highly recommend him.
