 + -1 moreThis is the best business has to offer. Someone that will help you even when they can not preform the work. This gentleman spent a good deal of time on the phone with me instructing me what materials i needed and how to preform the work myself. I am very grateful to him. He saved the day when I could not find anyone else to repair my pool before winter. (It developed a leak after closing.) This is the kind of business practice that makes me a loyal customer!!!! Thank you again.

 + -1 moreI just spoke with John and unfortunately he is not accepting any new customers at this point. John is very close to retirement and has a dwindling set of customers he continues to serve but does not want to take on any new customers. From my conversation with him, he seemed like a very honest and forthright individual and it is too bad he is not in this business any longer. New customers should not contact him for work.

 + -1 moreThe $ 400.00 recent work was closing the pool where they do everything you would expect plus store all the parts and John takes home any pump parts which need help; he brings the back in the spring cleaned, repaired and functioning at highest efficiency.
Description of Work: John and his wife work as a team and open, close and service pools and hot tubs and spa's. They are hard working , conscientious and highly skilled. Johns small motor and machine skills have kept our in ground pool and its pump functioning at a level of excellence for more than 10 years . They are so skilled in pool issues they are the only source of information for us with all pool related questions. They are quite simply the best in the business...bar none. Prior to hiring them our pool was serviced by two different highly reputable pool companies in this area they showed up did the work but were vague on answers and gave no solid advice; John knows the answers and give great advice. We are forever clients and have recommended him to other.

 + -1 moreHe is fabulous. My sister recommended him. He is the type of guy that takes the pump apart and cleans it, stores it and then takes an important piece for opening the pump and labels it and takes it home and then over the winter he cleans it out and checks the threads and oils it. He then brings it back when it is time to open the pool. That is the type of guy that he is. The pump he fixed lasted another 5 years and he only charged us $50 for that work. He works with his wife. She does the vacuuming and skimming. He is just great.
Description of Work: We use John Gisel Pool Service for our inground pool that was built in 1952. He opens and closes our pool every year. He also refurbished our old pump and got it working like a charm.

 + -1 moreAwesome! Best Ever! They clean up beautifully, they store my filter parts, they lubricate the screws for the pool cover & they think of everything!
Description of Work: Opened & closed our in-ground pool, cleaned lines, changed filters in filter, repaired skimmer system, folded & dried pool cover. Serviced it all summer keeping it clear & sparkling clean.
