He wasn't as technical as the other guy from another company I had used but he did good work. He cleaned up good. They came right out when they were supposed to and they fixed the problem. Their price was reasonable. It wasn't a big job but at least they fixed it. They were really good. They said that if we had problems with the toilet again, they would come back and take care of it.

2 Men showed up - I showed them report from gas co. They went right to work - were done in 45 min. Very pleasant and neat. Also helped me with a hose & faucet in garage I couldn't disconnect.

I was very happy with the service. They kept me informed on when they were coming. They showed up on time. They did the work requested and accommodated my request to complete the job that day. This meant the plumber had to go get the parts needed to replace kitchen faucet.

They arrived on time and power snaked three drains upstairs. Very professional and they cleaned up nicely.

Overall the job is good, but there were a couple of problems that we handled. The pipe runs could have been done more neatly, or more forethought would have made for a more satisfying job.

Once again Hertel Plumbing saved my day. I noticed there was a leak into the kitchen from the upstairs toilet. Nothing was obvious but something was definitely wrong. I had a couple of estimates and was told I needed to tear up my kitchen ceiling. Hertel Plumbing came and said it was a simple wax ring change that was needed and the fee was nominal. I decided as ling as they were there to install a handicapped toilet as well. The plunbler was great. I know he had a difficult time becasue the age of the house makes things uneven but he did a great job. They will always be my choice for plumbing needs.

After purchasing our new house built in 1905 I wanted to replace all old plumbing with copper before we moved in (there was a mix of copper, PEX, and galvanized piping in the basement). The work was completed without any issues - the price was reasonable and the plumbers were punctual, pleasant, and courteous. They called when they were on their way and showed up on time so no one wasted any of their time. Shortly after updating the piping my hot water tank (circa 1985) pressure value started leaking and they replaced the tank as well. Since bad things seem to happen in threes the main water line from the waterbox to the meter has sprung a slow leak (don't you just love old houses with lots of character?) and I will be using Hertel for that work as well. I've dealt with Mike, John, and Tyler and have only good things to say about them. I will use them for any future plumbing needs.

I had called Hertel to get a quote for a full sewer line replacement from my house to the road (about 40 ft) after having another service come out earlier that day recommending a replacement after rotoing my line and scoping to check for issues. Steve came out later that evening to look at the property and the distance but couldn't give me an estimate till they scoped the line them selves and see what was what. I received a call the next day for the appointment but there was a $250 cost for it!!! I explained to the lady that this was a follow up to our meet and needed to be done to get a quote. She explained that they may absorb half the cost if I decided to go with them. Needless to say I canceled and going elsewhere. The other two companies (also rated A on angieslist) will be coming out and I confirmed that they will NOT charge to run the camera for my estimate.

Was on time professional, answered all questions, found a problem with the kitchen faucet we purchased, recommended returning it and getting a new one. Cleaned up and left no mess. Price was as quoted for the work. Would them again for any work.

Installation was from 8:30am-4pm. I provided the filtration and softener units. Everything went smoothly, with good communication from the gentlemen from Hertel Hardware & Plumbing, while I was at work during most of the installation. I came home after they had finished and left. There was nothing I had to do - they had set the softener, and added the bags of salt and water. I am very pleased with the result - everything is running well and my water is so much better than before.

They are very friendly. I have used them multiple times over the past year. I will use them for any future plumbing needs.

I own an old double that still has much of the original plumbing. Several leaks had developed in the plumbing. Hertel plumbing came in and replaced the old piping, include the stand pipe and drains to both baths. Everything went fine. They were prompt, worked diligently, answered all my questions and cleaned up after themselves.

These guys are great! The team they sent out to take care of it were fantastic and worked until late into the night when the job was done. They did a great job filling the hole back in and left everything looking great, they even took the time to nicely dig up my bushes so they could be replanted without any trouble. I would definitely recommend these guys again and again.

It went well. The phone was answered at the first call. I was told someone could come out that very day. Yay! Someone did. He called first. The work was done professionally and politely. I have no idea how to compare prices as I did not get estimates. It seemed fair and I was desperate. I couldn't use my kitchen sink or dishwasher! So I was very grateful for the promptness. I would recommend this company again.

Excellent. I was impressed with their punctuality and the speed in which he corrected the problem. He did not work a full hour and only charged me with the time he worked and not for the entire hour. very nice and professional people. The job was originally supposed to be done may 7. Due to delays on the utilites and other jobs running behind, my work wasnt done for a week later may 13. I was very happy with the completed job. The work was done well. They cleaned up and left everything clean.

During an initial visit a plumber analyzed multiple lavatory plumbing problems we had at no cost, and we talked about a reasonable approach to solving them. (I didn't want to buy a completely new toilet if replacement was not needed, because of the expense involved in replacing like with like.) Then a plumber arrived on a return visit to do the work in mid-February, and he replaced a number of parts at a very reasonable price. When one of the minor parts didn't fix one of the problems permanently, he returned in mid-March after I called and we agreed that he would replace the entire part that was old and failing. He did so, again at a very reasonable price. Everything was handled in a prompt, courteous, professional manner. Now everything works fine and I'm very pleased.

Plumbers called first, arrived exactly when they said they would. They were courteous; they worked efficiently. Because they had to remove the toilet, they suggested that as a precaution, we, once again, place a bucket under the hole that we had to put in our living room ceiling yesterday when the bathroom flooded. (They did contain the water-nothing leaked through today.) Everything was fixed and replaced in less than an hour. My husband then asked if they would look at some basement plumbing. They did and gave us their opinion as to the problem and what it would take to make the situation better. BTW, if we do decide to make the change they suggested, they will be the first place we will call.

The repairman new right away what the problem was-he installed a new supply line to the toilet. He then checked the basemwnt to make sure all was fine. Great service. Highly recommended!
