They did a wonderful job. Andy and his crew were professional, prompt, and courteous. After stripping off our old roof, they checked for sponginess in our plywood (which we expected). Unfortunately for us, we needed 45 sheets of plywood, which raised our price. But like I said, we kind of expected that. They used all GAF certified products, including underlayment, 6 feet of ice shield, drip edge, and shingles. They cut a new ridge vent into our roof and garage roof, and took out our attic fan, and extra vents in order to ventilate the attic properly. Both our neighbor next door and we got our roofs done the same week. The crew cleaned up everything so well too! They swept, raked and made sure there were no nails left lying around. We even got free gutters and downspouts as an added bonus. Our house looks awesome, and we feel a lot better now with our new roof. I highly recommend them!

Kevin Walsh, owner of Expert Exteriors, returned my call within a couple hours of my leaving a message with his answering service on Jan. 23, and he came out that same day to talk to me about what I wanted done: roof replacement. He took measurements and suggested a few other things to be done (removing old skylight and covering over the opening with the new roof, removing rear chimney that is not used, tuck pointing front chimney, recoating two rubber roofs, installing a water diverter on the roof above the back French doors), and he gave me a figure of $14,000 that day, then mailed me a written proposal for that amount. When I called him back a couple weeks later to tell him I wanted him to do the job, I asked him to put a new skylight where the old one was, which added $300 to the cost. He came the following day and I signed a contract for the work, which he said would probably begin the second week of March (weather permitting). He called me March 3 and said he would start work March 5, which he did. I was very satisfied with the work done. The workers were very respectful of my property and that of my neighbors on either side as they tore off the old roof (three layers, including the original cedar shakes) and then did the new roofing etc. Kevin Walsh kept me updated on when they would/would not (because of rain) be on site, and he cooperated with me in getting my three greyhounds out to their backyard run and then back into the house in the morning before his team started work at the back of the house or began moving materials/equipment in and out of the backyard. I have already recommended him to others

His name is Kevin Walsh. If I had a problem later, he was here within hours. He doesn't live too far from me. I would use him again.
