They only have two men working so the wait from now on is going to be kind of long so I would tell them to call somebody else. He did the best he knew how but didn't realize we were gonna get 74" or whatever.

My hot water heater was leaking water. The owner responded very quickly with a same day appointment. He sent servicemen out the following day to replace my hot water heater. They were courteous, knowledgeable and professional, taking special care not get water or debris on the carpeted areas in my finished basement. They explained what they were doing and why. I was very pleased with their knowledge and expertise. I would use them again and recommend them for plumbing problems. .

I stopped at their store told them what I needed and they were there within 1 hour and spent an hour servicing every thing that was needed. After he was done he took time to explain every thing he did and why. I will definately use them again.

On the previous day, EBM replaced the Thermocouple (?) in the heater because it wouldn't stay lit. That eve it went out again. First thing the next morning I called and they came with a new heater that afternoon even though they had a full schedule already. They didn't charge us for the first visit. I try to have EBM for any work I need. They have done most of our electrical needs, installed our air conditioning, and maintained all of our plumbing. I started supporting them because they were a local company and their service proved to be so good and their staff so friendly that we use them pretty much exclusively. They are not the least expensive service around , being a small family-owned business, but the quality of their work and willingness to always make the customer happy makes them a good deal indeed.

we had new pump,filter and compressor put in then we had the humidifier (1964 unit very old) replaced.Scott did both services in Aug +Oct the total was $635.

I actually used EBM Mechanical twice. The first time was to replace my Furnace and install AC back in 2004. They were the highest price among 3 estimates. The other 2 estimates didn't get the job because they were jerks. I asked the the guy doing the estimate (I think his name was Morton) why he was so expensive compared to the other estimates. He said it's because he is good and produces high quality work. He did do good work and my only complaint was the price.I purchased a comercial building in April 2012 and asked for an estimate from EBM to have the AC unit moved. They tried to charge me for a 25' copper line when only 12' was required. My father-in-law said, "so do we get the extra material" and they guy said sure. It's been about a month and we still never received an estimate.I contacted Emerald heating and air and they came out the next day. They said there should be enough copper and electrical lines to utilize existing stuff. He said this should save me money. I got an estimate a week later.This is probably why EBM is so expensive. They rip you off on the material. I gave them repeat business and they screwed me. I have even referred them to people in the past. They have lost my future business!

EBM came in and assessed the situation on May 25, 2012. He knew what had to be done but had to go through a learning curve with our current equipoment. He was more familiar with Carrier HVAC equipment than our Lennox HVAC system. Honeywell's instruction could have been better if it contrasted the difference between the PC 8900A and THX9421 wiring. It required about two hours on Friday, May 25, 2012 to get the A/C running. This was a relief since the Memorial Day weekend was brutally hot. On Tuesday, EBM returned and completed the installation. Went through the programming instructions and checked out the HVAC system. All went well and our HVAC system now appears to work better than ever. Since the owner supplied the THX9421, EBM had no part profit so the charges were a bit pricy. (labor cost $434.00) They were good at what they do, but I paid for it. Lessons learned is to have better diagnosed the PC8900A failure for it would have saved a lot of money. But on the bright side, The purchase of the THX9421and the expert installation by EBM may be a blessing since our HVAC system appears to be working much better than before.

After being told by 2 other companies that my daughter's furnace could not be fixed and would have to be replaced, EBM came in and fixed her furnace. They came out promptly and were honest and reasonable. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone.

Overall, I was satisfied with the service, but I am not sure if I would use them again in the future.

These guys are top notch. They are very professional and showed up right on time. They specialize in this type of heating and it is not easy to find good companies in this field. I would highly recommend them.

EBM Heating is excellent. Anytime I get the chance to recommend them I do. It's a family business and they prefer Sunday off unless an emergency comes up. They are very trustworthy and responsible.
