 + -1 moreThe Doyle representative showed up on time, looked at my security system and stated he would send me their quote. It is now several weeks later and no quote. Why bother to advertise and waste your money and my time? If you don't want the job just tell me.
Description of Work: Doyle Security advertises you an save up to 25% on your security bill by switching to them. I am currently with another security company so i called Doyle to get their estimate for my home security system.

 + -1 moreThe salesperson was very thorough. She analyzed accurately our level of paranoia, surveyed our home thoroughly and recommended appropriate hardware and monitoring service options. We had three companies give us estimates and we selected Doyle because of the careful consideration of our needs. The estimates were all in the same range. The installation was scheduled approximately one week after we signed the contract. The installer arrived on time and worked most of the day installing our system. Our only complaint is that he did not explain in detail how to test all the components and left one wire on the siren in the basement disconnected, so it didn't work. We reported this to the office and they told us that they would have the installer call us. He never did. Since it was obvious where the unconnected wire was supposed to be connected, I did it myself and now everything works as expected. A substantial discount (three free months) for the monitoring service was given because of a referral from a friend. Also, if one pays the monitoring fee annually, there is one free month. Part of the monitoring fee is for annual maintenance. This is not an option, but gives peace of mind because the system is checked out annually by professionals.
Description of Work: They installed a new alarm system in our 1300 sq ft home.
