He showed up on the wrong day and gave me an estimate to paint the exterior of my home. It was very HIGH compared to the other member reviews that I wrote. Won't be using him.

The work was done perfectly, on time, and was very reasonably priced for the amount of work / number of days the job took to complete. The painters were very polite, pleasant and professional. Every detail was taken care of perfectly. I will use them in the future whenever I need interior or exterior paint jobs. Would very highly recommend. A+!

I found them on Angie’s List and they were excellent. He was well mannered and excellent on everything he did. It was a perfect job. He was on time and did everything he promised.

The owner's son came and power washed the exterior of my house. I think he did a very good job and he was thorough, careful and did what he said he would do. I stopped home and talked with him as he was partway thru the work and he explained what he had done and what was left to do. I am still pleased with the results and I would definitely use him again.

Very prompt service; was able to fit me in within a week. Also, he followed up afterwards to ensure that is was satisfactory. I would definitely use them again in the future.

Excellent. Great job at repairing damaged walls under the old wall paper before painting them. Cleaned up after each day was completed. Very pleasant to deal with and very punctual.

We had been painting the exterior of our home ourselves. One side had a very tall peak and it was difficult to do that side so we decided to hire a professional to do it for us.My phone calls were promptly returned. An estimate was given by Gary and he came out to do the job less than 2 weeks later. They powerwashed it first and then painted. The painting looks great and everything was cleaned up before they left.

DeLuca's did an AWESOME job! He was on time for every appointment, called me with updates, did the work on time as promised, was very neat and very polite. Gary was the kind of guy that I would have let in my house if necessary; however, the painting was all exterior. The price was fair. DeLuca's Painting was a great company to do business with. Everything went amazing; I could not be happier. Gary did a beautiful job on my home. The inside of my house never looked better. He had extreme attention to detail. Did an awesome faux finish on my dining room wall. My kids love the color of their bedrooms along with the designs he did. All the lines were extremely straight. He did everything free hand. He fixed all imperfections in my walls where you could never tell there was anything wrong. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing any painting jobs done.

The house needed a tremendous amount of prep work and they were absolutely methodical in removing years of ivy by grinding it off of our 100 year-old home. We were well-informed of the timeline for completion, the work involved, and he listened to our requests and completed them without hesitation. They did a wonderful job painting our home and their attention to detail was remarkable. I would highly recommend DeLuca Painting to my friends and family as well as Angie's List members. They did an excellent job on our home!

The quote seems reasonable but the person that came out was unprofessional. He didn't take any notes. He walked on the house and took pictures on his cellphone. He told me he would give me an estimate and he didn't until I called him and remind him that I wanted it and he left it in the mailbox. We have a Victorian house and I wanted someone that specialized in that sort of painting and he didn't seem to know about it when I asked about it. The quote was reasonable but he didn't have the skills and professionalism that I wanted.

He promised to fill in all nail holes and putty over all the screw heads. He promised a good job on the entire job. What he did makes me sick every time I look at the walls. He has no concept of how to do an INTERIOR paint job. There we chunks of paint on the walls. The small divots on the walls (which he also promised to fill in) stick out like a sore thumb. I contacted him and asked that he return and fix his mistakes and after approximately 1.5 MONTHS he has still NOT returned to fix he work. EVERY TIME I GO INTO THE ROOMS I SEE SOMETHING I HADN'T NOTICED BEFORE. I WOULD RECOMEND THAT HE NOT NOT NOT BE ALLOWED ANYWHERE NEAR YOUR HOME WITH A PAINT BRUSH.

Arrived on time and completed the job as scheduled.

It was a big project, requiring three men and three weeks. The guys showed up when they said they would. They were friendly, polite, helpful, conscientious, and willing to deal with heights, steep roofs, and a picky homeowner (as well as a bat and a few bees). With the exception of a couple of weather delays, they worked on getting it done start to finish with no interruptions. The house never looked better. We feel it was a good value for the money spent.

Gary Deluca, owner of the company provided a detailed written estimate after inspecting the exterior of the house and discussing my desires and expectations. His quote was substantially lower than other quotes I received. He arrived as scheduled about a week after I accepted his offer and was open to switching paint brand and type I selected. He performed all of the work himself, with the help of his son without any "days off" except as required due to rain. Preparation, power washing, scraping, and painting (spray and brushwork) was done to high quality standards. He took care not to damage plantings around the house and cleaned up thoroughly each day. I am extremely satisfied and highly recommend him for exterior painting.

The owner, Gary DeLuca, called quickly and scheduled an estimate right away. He arrived promptly for the estimate appointment. He checked out each room visually and went to his truck to write up an estimate. The estimate was $2300 to perform the work listed above. Gary said he could do it in 3 days. He had just finished an exterior job for another customer and could begin my house the following Monday. I signed him up. Gary was working with a 2-man crew. The other guys looked pretty young. They showed up shortly after 8 the first day as they had to stop to pick up the paint. As I get home from work and driving kids around pretty late, the painters were gone when I came home. I noticed that they had not removed any picture hanging hardware. So I removed all the hardware I could reach, since I did not want that painted or painted around. The next morning Gary and the crew showed up right on time. I asked Gary if they had hit any snags. They had. My living room paint would need 3 coats to cover instead of two and the white trim paint was not covering old beige trim work in two coats either. Because of this, there would be extra materials and labor costs, $535. I agreed to pay this unexpected cost. I asked Gary to fill the nail holes I had created in removing the picture hangers, and he agreed to do so and did do so. When I came home Wednesday evening, I saw some things that concerned me. One wall in the kitchen still looked quite blotchy (this was a wall that had been wall papered). In the bathroom, there were quite a few spots that were missing their top coat in eggshell (flat base coat was still showing) or where the paint had not been applied thoroughly in corners. Also, there were places where the white trim paint was still not quite covering. Some window sills that were chipping had not been scraped or sanded. Finally, there were some holes in the walls that had been missed and not patched. When Gary arrived that night to pick up the balance, I showed him the areas I was concerned about. He agreed to come out the next morning to address my concerns. He told me he had left my house the day before to do an estimate elsewhere and his crew had told him they were done and cleaned up without his coming back to see everything. He asked me to use blue painter's tape to mark the spots where the problems were. I did this. Gary showed up promptly on Thursday to fix the spots I had marked. He repainted the blotchy and spotty walls and trim that was not fully covered, and they look much better now. He patched holes, and I will have to apply paint to cover the patches because they were not dry when he left. I appreciate Gary's willingness to come back. Perhaps I had unrealistic expectations, but I thought the painters would do more to prep the walls so that the paint would look better than it does. I thought that part of the service would be to take out nails and patch the holes, or, if the nail was gone a long, long time ago, to patch the hole before painting. However, I found quite a few holes that were simply painted over and left. I also assumed that the painters would scrape any peeling areas and sand them at least a little smoother. I found areas where this was not done. On a couple of window sills, chipping paint was simply painted over. This disappointed me. If this was something that I was going to have to do in advance of the painters' visit, I would have liked to have been told that. When I asked Gary if they had hit any snags, he could have told me, "Yes, you've got this chipping paint, and unless you scrape and sand it, I'll have to just paint over it. What do you want to do? Get the surface ready or just have me paint over it?" I would have scraped the window sills and spackled the nail holes if it had occurred to me that this would not be included in the labor. Gary was pleasant and polite. He was responsive when I raised my concerns. If you have an older home that will need scraping and patching in advance of painting, you should be sure to discuss with him in detail what he is planning to do and what he is not. I made some assumptions that it seems I ought not to have made. My house definitely looks much better than it did. When I clean up the dust and put the furniture back, other people may not notice the things that I have mentioned.

Overall-- punctual, professional and high quality work. This company cares about doing a job the right way!!!

Gary DeLuca and his crew show up when they are scheduled, and work the job until it is finished with no delays. When the kitchen in a house can't be used it can disrupt the household, and DeLuca got the job done quickly in 3 days, and cleaned up each day so that the kitchen was still somewhat usable during the project. The final job looks great and is exactly what we expected.
