CP&I Concrete

CP&I responded quickly to my request to replace a 1962 driveway. Price was very reasonable and John (owner) was great to work with. His crew was efficient and courteous. Final product was great. Would hire them again!

Good quality work and customer service was great

I was very pleased with the paving however I was very disappointed with the mess left behind. Also some of the paving covered the black too on my driveway and no effort was made to prevent that from occurring or to clean it off. Again very disappointed with the lack of attention to detail .

Concrete is coming off, porch is coming off the house, he refuses to cooperate. Saw work from other homeowners he has done concrete work for, and it looks just as bad, if not worse. Concrete slopes are not up to code and is now showing rebar.

John was a no nonsense straight to the point foreman who delivered on his word. We received an excellent concrete patio with an amazing horseshoe firepit for an awesome price. Go with John and expect simple direct contact with an awesome product and price.

Wow! Just, wow! I hired CP&I to replace the sidewalk in front of my mom’s house, and the roughly 20x20 patio in the backyard. The tear out included battling snow, rain, and wind, plus - bonus!- discovering a second patio beneath the one we knew about! Anthony and crew didn’t blink; the old concrete was pulled out, and both areas were ready for pouring by the perfect weather day that was coming right up. They were amazing! Watching the process gave me an appreciation of the mighty effort and hard, hard work it takes to do this right. Their attention to the smallest details - taking care not to damage the grass or shrubs around the work ares, adding rounded corners to the patio for a nicer look - was a sign of their high standards. Their lo-o-o-ng days spoke volumes about their praise-worthy work ethic. And the camaraderie among the crew was a pleasure to witness. They were so respectful of my mom and her property, and cleaned up beautifully. Many thanks to John Polvino, my main contact, who was a pleasure to work with. Great communication every step of the way, and I just knew when I met him he’d be a man of his word. He is. If I could give then six stars, I would - it is well earned!

They just completed our backyard patio! It looks amazing and we look forward to enjoying it this summer! John and his team were a pleasure to work with and Anthony designed a beautiful pad! It exceeded our expectations!! I highly recommend them!

They do what they say no surprises

They were Very Professional in the work they did. They got the job done in a timely manner. The Crew at CP&I were all very good and excellent in their workmanship. I'm very pleased with the work they did.

Started off as a promising experience but unfortunately I learned that if you are considered â fill inâ work you are not treated the same as the big project customers. Two no shows by this company ( I had to call the day of and ask where they where each time) and when I voiced my displeasure they just walked away from the job leaving me with no way to get thework done this year. I was hoping to give them a large job next summer but I will be looking else where. All customers big or small projects should be treated the same!

CP&I , run by John Povlino and work done by Anthony and his crew is highly recommended! From start to finish communicating with John was easy and pleasant. John answered phone calls personally. He came out personally to give us an estimate. He listened carefully to what we wanted done. He explained things clearly and personally supervised the job. Anthony and his crew was very professional, hard working,and the crew worked well together and obviously knew what they were doing. We were very Pleased with the quality of the work and timely completion of the job. Clean-up was very thorough as well. We are very pleased with our new driveway and steps! Thanks to John, Anthony and the crew!

Had to break up old patio and haul to the curb by wheel barrow, and haul in new concrete same way. Crew worked quickly because rain was in the forecast. When they completed forming the concrete they then placed a plastic top over the the project to protect it from the rain. Turned out great.

Very happy with our new driveway. The design is exactly what we were looking for.

My review is in two parts. CP&I, run by John Polvino, is the perfect way to get a contractor for cement work. I "signed" my contract for a completely new sidewalk along the whole front of my property the day before WNY went into the "Pause." John did an excellent job of communicating with me throughout the work stoppage and I was very glad that I kept my down payment in place rather than pulling the money out and taking a wait and see approach. John sent out an e-mail to all his customers at least every two weeks. Both during the pause and after it ended, any time I had a question I could just e-mail or call John and he would get back to me in just a couple of hours if not sooner. My actual sidewalk was installed within the first 3 weeks of construction workers being able to go back to doing residential work. The work was done by "Empire Services" and I can't recommend them highly enough. The company is owned and run by Anthony(not sure of last name) and he is a perfectionist when it comes to the job his crew does. My sidewalk has been a problem for decades because I have a larger than average driveway and the original side of it was poured in 1961 and the second portion was poured in the mid 1970s and is slightly higher than the original. Because the sidewalk was from 1961 as well the "newer portion" of the driveway was higher than the sidewalk causing water to get trapped and form ice in the winter. Anthony and one of his workers named Dennis took the time to figure out a solution. Four hours ago there was a big thunderstorm with torrential rain at my house. Two hours after the rain stopped there wasn't any water laying in the concrete at my house. I would rate the actual new concrete pour a 10+. In closing I would highly recommend CP&I and also recommend asking for "Empire Services." My actual concrete pour was done by Smokey(sic), Dennis, and Matt. If I were you I would ask for the 3 of them, they did an incredible job at my house.

We reached out to CP&I to complete a concrete walkway for my property. We scheduled them to complete the job for us and placed a deposit. Due to the COVID there were many uncertainties for when the project could be completed. John was very understanding with the current situation with the COVID and returned my deposit with no questions asked. They were very professional and understanding.

I needed to cancel my job due to coronavirus ... John was very accommodating and understanding in giving my entire down payment back ... I will definitely get this done and when I do CPI will be the company I m going with...
