Awesome! Steve came highly recommended by our architect and boy, was it well deserved! Steve's crew worked efficiently to replace the roof dealing with the various challenges that a 100+ year old roof brings. The finished roof looks fantastic, visually complimenting the stone and slate of the home. We subsequently have hired Copper and Slate to work on my home in Grand Island, and would recommend them to anyone considering a new slate (or artificial slate) roof.
Description of Work: Installation of a replacement slate roof, copper flashing, and stainless steel snow guard on my Mom's 100+ year old historic home in North Buffalo.

Terrific! Steve personally came to investigate a leak we were experieincing with a copper roof. He identified a number of anomolies that I had been unaware of, and promptly dispatched a team to correct them. This is the second house where we have contracted Copper and Slate and once again, we could not be happier with their professionalism and competence. I highly recommend Steve and his team!

We are very satisfied with all aspects of our experience with Copper and Slate. We had two other companies who have experience with slate roofs look over the roof and propose solutions (for a leak) and estimates. Copper and Slate proposed the work we had done (described above) Copper and Slate's price was similar to the other companies -- more when compared with asphalt repair, but typical for copper/slate work. We will definitely use them again if additional work needs to be done.
Description of Work: Replacement of copper chimney saddle and valleys around the chimney. Also replaced a few missing slates and installed drip edge on dormers.

I called Copper and Slate in mid July @ a leak in my slate roof and to replace a missing tile. I was also certain that there were some loose tiles that needed attention. They had installed snow guards on the roof previously. I spoke to a woman that said they would come out and do the job without an estimate ( I agreed ) since they had done work for me before. Almost 3 weeks passed ,, when I recieved a call saying they would come in 3 days to do the job. Rom and Anthony arrived on time and went to work immediately. Rom answered any questions I had thouroghly and was very informative. The job was done in three hours and they cleaned up any debris left over. It has rained since then and no leaks. Also, the loose tiles I had seen are re-secured.
Description of Work: Leak on slate roof repaired , 8 slate tiles replaced, 11 slate tiles refastened, flashing and nails caulked.
