BILT RITE CONCRETE

Came to my house a week and half later stating that he can only lift and touchup from what he originally gave a written estimate on....he lifted the block up and cracked it and then threw a couple of pieces of other rocks that he busted from the side of cracked ones and then put cement on it....it looks like garbage and now its still not even.....we had a discussion and he proceeded to rant and rave about how cheap the cost was and started using profanity when I questioned some of his comments.....I filed a BBB complaint and the boss of company (his brother-Mike) called and left message that his brother, Jerry, doesn't work for company and wanted to know if the estimate was on company letterhead, which it is,....an hour later Jerry called, who did the job, complaining that they have been in business since 1955 I should not have written my complaint to the BBB over such a small matter.....I would suggest that if your looking for a business to handle concrete work to stay away from these guys....I believe they are dis-honest and they all do work together and I don't believe that these two brother don't work together as said by brother Mike......They are (Jerry) un-professional and have no respect for customers per their attitude and language.......Buyer Beware......look elsewhere

We had an appointment for 7 o'clock at night. At 7:30, the phone rang, and the man said he'd come on Sunday morning instead. We were expecting them at 9:30 a.m. At 8:30, they called to say they'd be at our house at 10:30. He arrived at 9:45. Luckily we were home! They called Monday to say they'd come by that evening with our estimate and contract. They didn't come. On Tuesday, they called with an estimate that seems high, but we're still in the process of getting prices, so I could be wrong there. Given that they couldn't be considerate of our time when they were still trying to make the sale, we won't be using them.

They did the work when I was not present, did not put enough concrete on the floor to cover the pebbled surface and then told my mom I said to give them an extra $100 in cash! (she didn't) They refused to put on more concrete, I had to call 5 times to get them to come out and put the sealer on, and when they did, the sealer clearly didn't cover all the floor. When I questioned that, all I got was a bunch of 4 letter words.
