Work was well done in a timely manner

After an initial problem and delay due to one person leaving the company, the work began and was done in a fairly reasonable time. The quality of the work is impeccable -- several visitors have commented that the patio and stone walls look like they have been there for a long time, even though the bulk of it was just installed in June 2013. The hardscape installers created a landscape that reflects my vision, which is a tough thing to do. Much of this success is due to the good communication between their horticulturist and installers. The company also bent over backwards to make up for the months delay - they offered us a small discount, picked up three trees at no charge from area nurseries, and did some extra things like re-cut my garden border edges. As with most jobs like this, we kept adding things as we went along, so of course the job is taking longer. There are the usual delays as with any company as they try to juggle jobs, the weather, and other delays and keep all their customers happy, but on the whole we are very pleased. The installers are extremely professional, friendly, and competent. They are sensitive to placement and storage locations when they bring in their materials, protect the grass and garden beds as much as possible, and consistently offer to do small things like bring back the garbage cans, and offer to help with other tasks that are difficult for us older folks. They also often will place stones and then ask if it is what we had in mind - or they will cut a new garden bed and make sure we like the shape and borders before they finish. We would not hesitate to hire them again.

I contacted Beautiful River in September 2011. A licensed landscape architect visited me and we discussed what I wanted done. Within afew weeks, he produced a computerized rendering of how the front would look and sent me a written estimate of the cost. We agreed that I would contact him in the spring and schedule a work date. The work was done in May 2012 and has just started blooming. The work crew did a great job. It was several weeks before I received an invoice and there has been no follow up to see how the plantings are progressing.

It went really well. A large crew came and got it done within two days.
