We were working towards a very tight deadline for submission of a property reassessment complaint, and Eric got slightly closer to it before submitting his report than I was entirely comfortable with. However, the quality of the final report made it worth waiting for. I would certainly use his services again.

I am so glad I found Eric to do an appraisal on my Auntâ s house in the Black Rock area of Buffalo. He is not only licensed but also certified, truly an expert in his field. What I liked most about Eric is that he shared knowledge about the process before we officially hired him and did a very thorough job with the actual appraisal itself. He also provided support after the appraisal was complete. A consummate professional, I highly recommend using Eric and will not use anyone else if I need an appraisal done in WNY in the future.

My husband and I needed a Home Appraisal for a very complex situation, which required unusual expertise. We had searched Home Advisor and they put us in touch with Eric of Appraisal Services of W.N.Y. Eric was in touch with us almost immediately and he promptly set up an appointment with us. He arrived on time, was very thorough and was such a pleasure to have here. He was very knowledgeable of the kind of mortgage appraisal that we needed, and this reassured us greatly. We felt confident that he was the right person to take care of all paperwork for us. Eric was also prompt in making sure that everything was done professionally and with a wonderful disposition as well. It was a real pleasure meeting him and we're so glad for his experience and that he also made everything less stressful for us.

I needed a third party appraisal for my property and consulted Angie's List / Home Adviser. Appraisal Services of W.N.Y. came up in the search with a high rating and I immediately made an appointment. Wednesday Eric came out to my house, was very professional and followed close to the timeline he presented to me at the start. He surveyed the rooms and took photos inside and out. Friday he called me with an update on the progress of the report and by Monday evening his report was in my hands. I thought the report was accurate and took into account 5 recent comparable local property sales that I had overlooked. I was very satisfied with his service and would use his company again.

Eric was on time and very professional. His appraisal was very thorough and I am happy with it. I would recommend him to anyone needing a fair, unbiased home appraisal.

Eric was pleasant and professional and made an appointment to review the property. He said that the appraisal would be done in a few days and for sure by Monday. It took more than an additional week and several e-mails before I received the appraisal.

Mr. Peterson was a very nice gentleman to deal with and was on time as promised. He was a couple of days behind getting the final appraisal to me and that was fine however I do not accept his opinion of the value of our property considering the home 2 doors away sold for quite a bit more than our appraised value and our home has twice the property size and quite a bit more sq. footage. I complained and he defended his opinion however I have spoke with others since and and they also thought his value appraisal was significantly lower than it should have been. Therefore I do not believe he did his proper homework for the neighborhood and cannot recommend him. Sorry.

He took a couple days longer (to get his report to me)than expected. I don't think that's a valid reason to give him a lower score. He was obviously an experienced appraiser and knew exactly what he needed to do. I would recommend him to a friend.
