Arrived within the hour window that I discussed with them on the phone. Took a little over an hour because the previous lock was nailed in with giant nails instead of screwed in. He was able to get it out without damaging anything and the locks work perfect now. The cost was exactly what was quoted on the phone. He even picked an old pad lock that I didn't have a key for for no additional charge. In the future I will be using this company again for any lock needs.

My rear door lock failed. I called Advanced on Monday morning and Mark showed up later that day. He was polite and knowledgeable. After inquiring about an additional door lock, he explained it and did a quick tightening and oiling of the mechanism which now works even better. I will call them again should I need a locksmith.

The man solved difficult door and frame alignment issues and performed an excellent job in an efficient and courteous manner. What looked like a big job was just an "all in the day's work" to the technician.

I called 11/12/12 to explain my problems with all my locks and dead bolts. I had replaced all my locks and dead bolts on four outside doors about two years ago, but they never performed satisfactorily. Last winter, I was unable to open the deadbolts upon returning from a vacation. Additionally, I had other issues with all the locks. When I called A Advanced, Dan Jr. was very courteous, helpful and patient and allowed me to explain all my concerns. To better understand my problems,he advised me to spray all the locks and then call him back. I did so.After spraying the locks, I still had problems. My appointment was today, 11/19/12. I was called first to confirm the time and date. Although I lived a distance from his location, he did arrive as planned. Dan Sr, inspected each of the doors and locks and advised which to repair. He explained everything he was going to do before he proceeded. He installed a new deadbolt on the front entry door which had never worked and he keyed that to my other locks. He worked on all the locks, as all needed adjustments of one kind or another. All the doors were very hard to open and needed to be forcibly pushed to close. When he had completed his work, he had me try each one of the locks and deadbolts to be sure they were working properly. I couldn't believe how easy they were to open and close after he lined up everything and corrected the problems, He advised me on other problems with one door and recommended it be checked by a carpenter. He was very professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and pleasant . This is a very personable father and son business. You know you will have excellent service. This was my first reference from Angie's List. It was wonderful. I will certainly check with Angie's List for any future concerns and recommendations.

The locksmith called ahead before arrival and came at the appointed time. He was pleasant and very knowledgable not only about locks but about doors as well and what makes for a secure door. He throughly reviewed the situation I had with the need for new locks. There was a comparison of prices for the locks he could install and there were no pressure tactics. I asked him to assess a third door and he gave me recommendations on what was needed in the future. I would use them again.

Excellent. The company is polite and responsive both on the phone and in person at their store. It was nice to be able to go to the store where the different grades of locks were shown to us and explanations were clear and helpful. The installation was completed timely and in a very professional manner and so far we are very happy with the entire experience.

I called to request a new lock put in my front door. He gave me the options and pricing available and described what each option offered. Once I made the choice he asked me when I wanted him to come! He worked with me and went around my schedule. He was very courteous, personable, and professional. When he left he asked me to try the lock and then told me to call if there are were any problems. When I needed to get keys made for a very old deadbolt lock none of the hardware store were able to match the key and successfully cut a key that worked. I took the key to Advanced and within 5 minutes I was out the door with 4 new keys that work perfectly.

Brought several door locks in to the store to be rekeyed. Procedure and options were clearly explained along with tips for reinstallation. Locks were ready for pickup a few hours later and worked smoothly upon reinstallation. Good work, reasonably priced, very convenient. Professional and courteous. Very satisfactory.

They were very nice and informative over the phone. When they came to my house the fixed the lock on my security screen door and made new keys for me. Very punctual, professional and resonalbly priced.

We arrived at the store in the morning to discuss changing the locks on our new home. We were met with a professional, personable staff. They were very experienced, answering all of our questions and providing the best suggestions to meet out needs. They were even able to set up a same-day appointment. Mark arrived promptly and was very professional and personable. Mark's work was very exact and clean, wiping down everything as he worked. Would highly recommend.

They came the same day and completed three different projects in one day for us.

We called them up, based on Angieslist reviews, because we had trouble with one of the old locks, and wanted to get new ones installed, anyway. The owner's son (Dan Jr.) took down the info (and even checked how he might be able to save us some money), and set us up for an appointment with the owner the following day (Dan Sr.). Dan called ahead, made sure he had all the info correct, and arrived on time. He installed the 6 new locks (1 turn knob, 1 deadbolt for each of the 3 external doors), after removing the old ones, and addressing a few things that hadn't been right in the initial installation (by someone else). He explained everything before and after installation, cleaned up the little debris that was created (from redrilling), and even took his shoes off inside the house 'voluntarily' ;-). Price stated included hardware, service call and installation/fix services. Very professional, friendly, efficient, right on the money in every aspect. Highly recommended.

They made a couple of extra keys while they were here, but they didn’t charge me for that.

They did a wonderful job! I had mistakenly stated that I only had two cylinders but I actually have three, and they still honored the price quote (so they re-keyed one cylinder for free). They were responsive, professional, courteous, trustworthy, and lightning fast. I could not be happier with the service.

Dan, the owner, showed me a few choices of door locks and handle hardware pieces. There was no pressure as to which item to buy although there were different prices for the items. He explained the problem I had with my door and old hardware, installed the lock and knob as well as the dead bolt that I chose. He and his helper (son) did a professional job and completed the task in an efficient manner. They were courteous, professional and the price was reasonable. I would have them do work for me again.

He saved me money because he replaced the part rather than changing out the entire dead bolt.
