Description of Work: I called them on a Friday and left a message. Someone called Monday and we set up a Wed apt, 5 to 6pm. (it's dark by this time) The calls were very strained. Long gaps waiting for this guy to respond. I told him we wouldn't be home Tuesday. He should up any how and tried to call us several times. Then called me Wednesday morning. I reminded the appt was for Wed. afternoon; see you later. He never showed.

Description of Work: They responded to my email within hours. Toly was prompt in meeting with me to give me an estimate. I think his prices were fair. However, I decided to delay my project because I had some concerns about the price going way up once we got behind the paneling. I definitely would consider them in the future.

Description of Work: When I called to schedule the contractor was friendly but told me that he was booked up for the next four months. I found this particularly aggravating because I specifically called him prior to purchasing the service through Angie's List to discuss the job and make sure that he was available. So I'm out the $79 and the drywall still needs to be done.

Description of Work: Man came to give estimate for installing new relocating my front door, installing a new front door, and installing a window. I'm not even sure he took accurate measurements, just ran a tape measure across the space and said he would get back to me in a couple of days with an estimate. Guess my job was too small because he never called back.

+ 0 moreI had a problem with the columns on my front porch as they were rotting out at the bottom. I asked A+ Contractor his nickname is Tolly to install new plastic bases for the columns which I found on the internet. So I bought the bases. He told me that it would take four days for him to install them. I had him started. He did the whole job in one day. He worked from morning till after dark in the rain. He also showed me several short cuts which actually saved money on the job. So he did it most efficiently, saved me money and did it all in one day. That I thought was amazing. He might have inflated the time required to complete the work. If he had told me that it would cost $950 for one day's work I would have been shocked at his rate. But he did do four days work in one day. It was done very nicely too. Maybe he did a 15 minutes work the next day that is just because he could not finish it in the rain. Price wise I just don’t have any way of comparing. But he saved me time and money. I will use this company again.
Description of Work: Early September I used A+ Contractor Of Wny. to repair the columns in the front of the house. I spent $950 on it.

+ 0 moreHe arrived a little later than planned (but had left a message on my answering machine informing me of this). He started work immediately and determined what was needed to do the job. After getting the supplies he proceeded to work. He stopped at intervals to show me and explain what he was doing and why. Work was done in a timely fashion and I was pleased with the result. He gave me a six month warranty.
Description of Work: One side of my deck/porch roof was sagging and pieces of board were missing. Tolly removed flashing to examine inside details and showed me what he was replacing and why.

+ 0 moreHe and his assistant were wonderful. He started in as soon as he got here and did not stop until the work was completed. He was extremely personable and professional. I have utilized this man's services on another occasion and was as pleased with his work that time as I was this time. He is just a nice person. He ask questions during the initial visit for the price quote. When he returned he went strait to work, did everything we had discussed. He did ask a couple of questions during the work process, but they were things that had not come up during the first visit. I was totally pleased and impressed with this man's work and overall professionalism and personality. I will use his services again and again when needed. He is truly honest, strait forward and gave a really good price for his services. I found another contractor who would take the deck down but did not perform the removal. Tolly did it all and did a great job while doing it! I was impressed!
Description of Work: Tore an existing section of a deck down and haled the lumber away. Tolly (owner of A+ Contractors)and his assistant had to hand cut all the screws that held the deck together. There were a lot. There were four 4X4's. He cut three of then off below ground level. I had ask him to cut them off; but, had no idea he could cut them as far down as he did. The third one could not be removed due to being a support for the remaining section of deck. He explained this to me so that I would know why he did not cut that one off as well. He ask if I wanted him to dig them out. I so no, it was way to hot and not necessary for that to happen. He cleaned up every piece of lumber that was involved with the deck and some that had been under the deck from the original construction. He haled them all away. He performed this within 21/2 hours.
