A+ was very responsive and worked with me on the quoting process. Still deciding the scope of work.

Toly from A+ Contractors showed up to my house on 2/21/14 after I purchased the four hours of drywall for $79 on 1/30/14. Toly recognized my house because he had bid on a job to re-do my foyer in 2013. He had not gotten that job. He then told me that the $79 for four hours of drywall was for new customers only. I told him that I did not recall that proviso from the deal offer. I further told him I had never been a customer because he had never done any work for me and I had not paid him. Those are the defining elements of being a customer. He refused to honor the deal. I was dumbfounded. I could only surmise that he was bitter at not having gotten the more lucrative foyer job last year so decided to be spiteful and not honor his word. He may do fine work, I have read other reviews that so indicate. I would not know as he refused to live up to his deal but I would counsel caution in hiring someone who will not honor a bargain.

This person's argumentative and doesn't listen well. He missed the first day appointment because I didn't answer the phone when he called (the work was in my computer room, as I had told him, and all wires were disconnected). He never told me he wouldn't come if I didn't answer. When I called him at 10 minutes after the appointed time, he said it was too late to come. The next day he was 30 or more minutes late with no apology or explanation, and was a bit nasty when I asked him about the lateness. Also, he argued that he was originally told by Angie's the service was supposed to be for 3 hours (the 4th hour taken up by a phone call before he arrived at a location and his travel time) and inappropriately found out after he committed to the deal that it was for 4 hours. He made no secret of being very unpayy with the arrangememtn with Angie's. Then he advised that all the arguing and explanations were coming off my time, and if unhappy with that he'd refund my money and leave while I would be stuck with a room I tore apart in readiness for his work. In our initial phone call I told him I wanted my bare plaster walls patched and sanded to be ready for priming. He said he had very good equipment that would catch all the dust while sanding, and advised me what products would be best to use. I bought the products, which were very heavy for me to load into my car. When he arrived he said he hadn't even brought his sanding equipment because the material had to dry 24 hours, and that he couldn't use what I bought anyhow, even though it was exactly what he had told me to buy. I then had to lug it all back to the store. When he finally did the job, he completely missed a narrow strip of wall next to a window. Because he had led me to believe in our phone call he would sand but in fact did not do so, I had to scramble to find more work for him. He handled that area, and when he was done with that, there was still an hour of prepaid time remaining. I asked him about more cracks in my hallway walls. He told me to use calk, and gave every indication of being done with the work day at my home. By this time, so was I. He therefore got his 3 hours in at my home, part of which was arguing time, rather than the 4 I was entitled to and he was unhappy about. Otherwise he did apply himself while working and did an average okay job. I will not work with him again.

He did a great job. He cleaned up very well, it was a perfect job, he was very communicative when he needed to reschedule and did the job quickly in one of the coldest days of the year in the garage. I paid for four hours and it only took him an hour to do the work. He didn't really asked me if I needed anything else.

I am having an addition added to my house and some remodeling to my kitchen,bathroom and living room. Because of getting permits and soil and asbestos test, building will be delayed until better weather. They did re-plaster my living room ceiling and walls, painted and put up two new doors. Also, put up a new ceiling fan and light. I am very happy with their promptness and quality of work. They did a great job. They had an architect draw up plans and I have met with an interior designer, whom I really like. Things are progressing and I will keep in touch.

I called A + on 10/17 and got an answering machine so I left message as to the type of work I was looking for and requested a call back. On 10/20 I received a call back from Tim of A + and since I was not home Tim left a message. I returned his call early 10/21 and their machine picked up again so I left him a message. I called back again on 10/22 and was able to speak to Tim and set up time for him to come out. He told me he had between 3-6pm available on 10/29 for him to come out to my home so we set this date. Tim was very nice, right on time and personable. I went over the work we wish to have done and he took many photos of these areas...I don't think he actually did any measuring which I thought was odd. Once he was all done he then advised me that if I wanted a written quote it would cost me $85, however a verbal quote which could be given in 1 week, would be free. I found this interesting since it was never mentioned prior to him coming out that a written quote would be $85. Their estimates are listed as "free" on the Angies List website. Anyway, I told him that a verbal quote would be fine. Going into the week of Nov 11th I still had not heard back from Tim so I decided to call him (not sure exactly what day it was that week) but I again received the answering machine and I left a message stating that I was inquiring about the status of his verbal quote. As of today 11/24 (more than 1 month from the initial call I placed) I have yet to receive a call back from Tim with this "verbal" quote. Perhaps it is because I was not willing to fork over the $85 for a written quote...not sure...just bad business all around. We have since moved on with quotes from other companies who have responded promptly and have NOT charged us for their estimates.

The provider never showed up at the agreed up appointment time and I never heard from them again.

Busy handyman. He did not respond in reasonable time. Need to call many times. He did the job at the time except removing the antenna. He said it does not need to remove it. He had to refund 150$ for that removal. I had to call to refund it many times and I got it after 6 weeks. Very slow response for everything. If you like the nice job and if you are very patient, that's the right one. The price is OK.

We had no problems what so ever. The work that they quoted they did fine and there were no problems. I thought it was a little pricey for the work that was done but sometimes you get what you pay for too.

I contacted A+ Contractors for an estimate for a few home repairs. They quickly returned my phone call and set up an appointment for 1:30 on a Tuesday. They did not show up for the appointment. I am very disappointed in their lack of professionalism not only for missing the appointment and not calling, but also for the fact that I needed to take a 1/2 day off from work because they only did home estimates between the hours of 12-1 PM. I will not recommend them.

Toli and his crew did an amazing job. Total professionalism and courtesy was displayed. The attention to detail was outstanding. I can be nit picky sometimes and they were on top of everything. They worked in all weather from rain to scorching heat and humidity. The quality of materials and workmanship were top notch. They worked with me on the plans and design and were able to make me a very satisfied customer. I am going to have them start my next project in a few weeks. I am also hiring them to do my siding as well as my front porch within the next 10 months. A+ Construction was A+!

I find their price very high and he wouldn’t give me a breakdown of the cost. He just gave me a total and then he was kind of seemed offended when I asked the breakdown of the cost. He said he would only do that for me if I signed an agreement to do the work which I thought suspicious and odd. He came right away. He was out within 24 hours. As far as that was concerned, he was very responsive.

Prompt and courteous. Came out and gave verbal estimate. I chose to hold off on the work so I did not have services completed.

The owner of Aplus contractors, Toly was very accommodating. They always left everything completely clean when they left.

He was very nice and took the time to tell me what needs to be done and how.

It went well and the contractor was very polite and dependable. He returned promptly to fix a problem area.

I called 2 companies and one came out and never called with the estimate. I called A+ and they gave me an estimate. I liked his demeanor and attitude. The process took 4 day's. He had hired 2 men to do the job but he supervised the whole process. The 2 men didn't say much and they never took a coffee break. Very hard workers and the end result was great. I have them coming out for another job.

Requested a quote via eamil on line. did receive a prompt retrun. Deceided to go with someone else (a bir mistake)

They came out to estimate the project. I had a list of 22 things that needed to be done and asked for an estimate of the total work with each item priced because I only had so much in my budget and I needed it to file for the estate. I received just a price for everything that we talked about but I had 5 contractors visit that weekend so I didn't remember what was discussed exactly. That is why I gave a C for the 2 categories.

Toly came to our house, after I forgot about our meeting time and was not there when he stopped the first time, on his day off to give us an estimate on the requested work. I showed him the nests and he said he would take care of it, no problem. He washed the front side walk without me asking and at no extra cost. The work was outstanding. All of the cement looked as though it was brand new. And, I have never seen our house look so nice and clean. I have used this company's services before and have always had the most outstanding service I could have ever hoped for. We are planning to have our deck replaced next spring and we are planning on having A+ Contractors do the work. I know we will not be disappointed

They were good. They were on time and professional. Their pricing was higher than other and I chose someone else.

I was contacted via email the day after my initial email to the company. An appointment for an estimate was quickly set up and kept. This was followed within a few days by a professional and detailed contract which was agreed too. Work was started soon after and completed in three days by professional and respectful workers. The price was reasonable and the quality is excellent. I will definitely consider calling them again in the future and would recommend them to others.

I had a roof leak that damaged drywall in three rooms, called A+ and made arrangements to do the work. They were very professional in their preliminary arrangements, came promptly on the day agreed upon and finished in exactly the estimated time. They were extremely competent and conscientious in the work they did on the drywall repair and painting all three rooms, including high vaulted ceilings. They repaired missing pieces of popcorn on the ceilings as well. They were very engaged in the work and made excellent suggestions, which I followed, as well as doing other little jobs that came up along the way. They were very informed and intelligent about everything connected with their work. I couldn't be more pleased. I plan to call them for more jobs that need to be done in the future.

All work was done in a reasonable length of time and in a very professional manner.

Very pleased with the service, price, and quality. The problem areas of our floors are now sturdy and level as can be (considering the sagging has had about 90 years to develop. The house was built in the 1920's). It was a necessarily slow process to jack up the floors. Some cracks developed upstairs, but those were easily fixed and attended to by contractor. Original estimate was adhered to from start to finish. The electrical work was needed, so we were fine with paying extra for that work. We would definitely use A+ again and recommend to others.
