Angela (the owner) was impressively responsive, collaborative and spoke frankly about what work was feasible, what would be challenging and what things would cost. We had planned to start the attic renovation in mid March but a slot opened up in her schedule and we wound up starting six weeks early. The first thing that caught my attention was how prompt they were. If the start time was 8am, they would be outside at 7:55. As a professional project manager, that really made me happy. Angela’s crew (Jason and Steve) and the subcontractors were all expert craftsmen and worked efficiently, collaboratively and took wonder care to protect the rest of my home. One instance I want to call out was how one day I was delayed in coming home from running an errand. While I was out, the work wrapped for the day but Jason didn’t have a key lock the house. So Jason had the rest of the crew go home and he waited on my porch until I got home. I was just blown away. Last but not least, I want to talk about the work. They took a completely unfinished uninsulated 350 sq foot space in my attic and turned it in to a fantastic office space that’s quickly become my favorite room in the house. Everything was beautifully finished and every detail was considered. On her final walk through, Angela ever saw a few small things that she wanted to push further and had the crew come back and make a few tweaks. "We were very pleased with the job performed. Helio's team expanded and renovated our small master bathroom. We took out a large closet and converted it into our shower. Once started, they worked quickly and efficiently. We did have a few small hiccups, namely using our garage to cut tiles and mix thinset, which created an exorbitant amount of dust coating my tools, bikes, and anything else that was stored in the garage. We also had an issue with the cleanliness of the home after some of the workers left, however, after we brought it to Helio's attention, he made sure to tell the team to do a better job moving forward. Contract was a little confusing, so I would encourage many questions to clarify things ahead of time such as timeline for selecting certain items, confirming when the next payments are due etc. All in all, we're pleased with the project and how it turned out."

"Gustavo and his team were phenomenal. The scope of the project evolved a lot after starting yet Gustavo was extremely fair with the pricing and tried his best to stick to the original timeline. His ethics are unmatched and did not deviate at all from his original quote for the initial job. From the day he started, you could tell Gustavo's primary objective was to ensure 100% satisfaction when it comes to quality and value. There was a fair amount of structural work such as removing a load bearing wall and replacing it with a complicated support beam. The final result looked like the house was originally built like this. So from the structural elements all the way down to the bathroom tile grouting everything was done with expert precision. Was also amazed to see how tidy his crew kept the house and cleaned up every single day and didn't damage a thing during the 6m renovation. He even helped out with minor things around the house outside of the renovation project which he did with full care. Couldn't recommend Gustavo and his team more. Can never go wrong hiring a great person who gives 100% to deliver."
