The tech that came out was attentive and thorough, walked the house the top to bottom on the first visit, put up an external barrier and sprayed internally as well. Put out rodent traps (we did not have a problem, none that I could see,and let's keep it that way as far as I am concerned). A couple of months later, they called and set up a follow up appt on their own to inspect the rodent traps as it was beginning to get cold outside and wanted to make sure if any rebaiting was required (we didn't). Overall, still very pleased with the service and it will be time soon to call them once again in time for spring! Prior we had one of the national brands for annual service and I was not pleased with the level of service or that the tech was all that knowledgeable about his business (and they cost a bit more).

They're very responsive but they're very expensive. We signed up for a year program from them and we thought it was a lot of money. We're going to see if we don't have ants outside next year outside then it will be well worthy.

I used them last October 10, something like that. We have en email service with them, they come a few times a year, and making some special stuff. Not just myself, but my in-law’s house, and also my brother-in-laws. The price is depending on the level of services you would like. I think it is only a couple of hundred bucks like 2 or 3 dollars for annual service that would give at least like 4 or 5 visits. For the medical year, and then as needed to depending on your level of service, but for now, we will do it for a phone call for there was no additional cost to your subscription or service. In my in-laws house, there was a couple of balls they had come through and they were good of diagnosing how to fix it going fall even also understanding that my in-laws, they are not working as a household, they take all the suggestion that you should do like keeping food away or make wine for the stains of the basement that would help the pest management. And they realize that they are not changing their way, so, they have to walk around it, even though there is knowing a lot the advice of probably get rid of someone of stuff, the kind of understanding and things to understand because they are client based by the land laws very well over in general kind of work with them. I will give them an A for everything.

For probably 15 years we've had a service contract with JP McHale for pest management. Mostly we had mice in the attic and wasps in the Spring. Never any very large issue. They are supposed to be coming two visits per year to inspect outside of house and spray accordingly. I don't allow indoor spraying due to health concerns of the pesticides... And I have requested more than once that they call and let me know they're coming. They never call. If they come twice a year I don't know when they've come. The person on the phone tells me by their records that "yes in fact", someone has been to my house and found no issues. And a service contract means you can call if you have an unforseen issue... Usually I hear mice in the attic...and Yes, they will come within a reasonable time frame to handle issues if I call...and they have come when I called without fail. A technician would usually go up to attic and replace mice baits, do the same in the basement. And for this we paid close to $400 per year for a service contract. But to not have a contract means I'd pay a fortune for one visit... so this contract made sense. The type of bug or flying insect covered is obviously listed on their contract....which I assumed would include most small crawling or flying pests. I didn't expect bat control for this price. Nor termite control. Other services I know are extra BUT right now, in Westchester there is a major issue with these flying stink bugs. They are sticking to our screens and are all over our deck, latching onto our clothing when we go outdoors and are being brought back into the house. How much would McHale charge me to remediate these bugs? An additional $500 per year for a very specific WINTER critter contract. And for just these bugs and lady bugs, they would spray 3 times around the house and trees/shrubs and take as many call backs as necessary to insure the bugs weren't in the house. OK, something is seriously wrong about this.....a particular bug is excluded from our original contract and suddenly it's $500 additional bucks to specifically eradicate this one bug??? Are they delusional? Is spraying with a spray can outside my property, around my windows and doors to get rid of this one bug worth this kind of money? Even if they spray trees? $900 a year total in service contracts? This isn't an air conditioner system nor maintenance of a swimming pool. This is a man with a can of chemicals, walking while spraying. OK, maybe for a few trees (only one big one near the house), this requires a truck with a hose... $500 more? I feel scammed because of this response from McHale....I rarely if ever have cause to call them....They never call me to say they're coming so I never know to expect anyone ringing my bell so maybe I could ask for those mouse baits to be refilled...Nope, they just come if I call and if nothing is going wrong, then they get $400 a year to do practically nothing. And now want to charge me an additional $500 per year to get rid of a stink bug... If anyone would pay $500 a year to eradicate a stink bug would have to be NUTS! I really want to give McHale an F but to be nice, I gave them a C. I'm sure they do most everything pretty decently. This just totally p***** me off!

Their services are great, they guys are very professional and they're very helpful. There hasn't been a problem that they haven't been able to solve and they are always looking for other things that they can do to help out.

They are licensed, trained entomologists. They know what they're doing, and are responsive. They're very targeted in what they do - they don't just spray all over the place. Their technicians are VERY well trained and I've never had an issue with them.

Called JP McHale because we were seeing a lot of carpenter ants in our front entryway, kitchen and dining room. We also found and saved in a plastic bag a flying bug that we thought may have been a termite. Service provider came (I don't remember his name), identified the flying creature as a queen carpenter ant, and proceeded to treat our house. It's been a month and we haven't seen one ant in our house. We are pleasantly surprised, because we had heard it's very hard to get rid of these ants.

I've been a customer for 20 years! JP McHale comes quickly and anytime there is an issue. They'll be at your house a few times each week if you need it! When I had a mouse problem, JP McHale sent a technician almost weekly and a supervisor during the week to see where the problem was coming from. This is an invaluable service -- you definitely get a lot for the price!

he came on time and performed the work as requested although when spraying my entry door, he completely sprayed the chemical on my front window which will now require cleaning. the bigger issue is when we got the bill, we gave him the coupon for $20 off the service. He said he would apply the credit towards our invoice although the technician said that he believed the coupon was only good for an annual service. We paid the invoice and then received an invoice for the $20 so i guess the coupon was rejected. This incident will lead us to contact someone else in the future for pest services. Beware of any coupons given by Mchale - apparantly, they want to entice you to use them and not give you the discount.

We were extremely pleased with their service today.

Service was great. Was very easy to schedule appointments, and they even provided service within 12 hrs of me calling about a sudden ant invasion.

JP McHale Pest Management are good. They do a service contract every year, so no matter how many times they come out it's just one fee. They come about four times a year. The only thing is that when I call them, I have to wait about a week for them to come out. I wish I could get it done a little sooner. But, that's because they cover a lot of neighborhoods. They do help control the bugs.

It took a long time to set up an appointment. First technician came out but would not go up a ladder in the rain. It took another week to get another technician out but this one did not know how to operate the ladder. After I showed him we was afraid to climb to the height needed to get to the wasp nest. Tried to reach a manager but they were unresponsive. When I finally reached someone they decided they didn't want the job because it was too difficult. I am now trying to get my money back. Never hire this bunch.

Company refused to send out a technician to climb ladder after last technician refused to climb. Wasp nest is high near roof. Technician left without completing the job. Managers were unresponsive to phone calls. Finally refused to complete the contract. Had to contact another company to get the job done.

I would rate them overall an A and will continue to use them.

They are reliable, they came when they said they would. They were thorough and did a good job.

They were excellent and I would use them again without any questions.

This is the second year with the contract. No carpenter ants, ants or other pests. They also take care of yellow jacket nests. Makes the outdoors much better. We had a bed bug scare at work and they brought in a bed bug sniffing dog. They were very thorough and set everyone's mind at ease. The entire staff was scratching before they came...and no itching when they left.

I rate them an A. Their prices seem high to me. The quality of their work is excellent. They're responsive and punctual.

I would absolutely recommend them to friends and family.

We have been using them for quite a while, they come yearly and we have a contract with them. They do five visits per year, twice in the spring, once in the summer and twice in the fall. If you pay ahead of time you get a discount with this company. I have had to call them back once or twice because they came and I wasn't home when they came, but that was not a problem. They have also given me advise on how to handle some concerns that I might have had. We will definitely continue to use their services in the future.

Very poor oversight and managemet of field performance. Very bad at responding to customer complaints. Never once did this company correctly identify a problem whether it be with their lawn care program or their pest management program I feel the money I spent was an absolute waste and I would never reccommend or use this company for any of their offerings.

They were very prompt and reliable.

He did an assessment for the wasps and bees and told me that I didn't need chemicals or major repairs to my roof. He walked away without charging me anything.

They are easy to make an appointment with. They were punctual as well and very personable.
