Description of Work: Zebe started on a Saturday morning removing the kitchen back splash tile which a previous contractor had put up in a layout we thought detracted from the overall impression of our newly renovated kitchen. So we decided to bite the bullet and buy another batch of the same glass tiles (from Complete Tile Collection in Manhattan), but to do it in a different layout with the help of an interior designer. Zebe promised the job could be done before Thanksgiving, when we were entertaining 20 guests. He finished quickly, efficiently and on time. Zebe also did a great paint job with patching, re-priming and applying two coats of paint to the sides of the pantry where we had decided not to use tiles, as well as painting around the backsplash. When it came time to put up the hood over the range top, he found the flange that the hood rested on did not protrude far enough from the new tile to support the hood, so he had to remove the flange and install a wood spacer. At this point he found the original kitchen contractor had installed the flange with only plastic anchors, and Zebe insisted drywall supports needed toggle bolts for the best support. So Zebe rectified that problem and reconnected the outlet and the hood looks great. We would gladly use him for any of our interior work going forward. He brings a traditional, European quality to his work, and is a pleasure to work with.

Description of Work: Remodeled bathroom completely; gut rehab. Very complicated with minimalist details [the hardest kind]. Contractor understood architect's drawings thoroughly and even recommended improvements. Coordination was complex, with fixtures, doors and tile from Italy, Germany, Spain and the US and Zebe Inc was able to integrate from multiple sources. They provided licensed plumber and electrician as required by the coop board. Held strictly to budget; in fact performed extra services effortlessly,
