William Wenzel and crew are ACES! Workmanship & Problem solving--------EXCELLENT. I had some contractors look at job and give prices---very ordinary and unimaginative. Wenzel and Sons came up with original ideas and solved gutter/leader problems. Considering workmanship and problem-solving---they were a BARGAIN. They are true craftsmen who are honest and reliable. I strongly recommend William Wenzel and sons.

It took weeks to get him to begin the work, after he came to look at the job & gave me a price of $1,500.00 - that I agreed to immediately. I'm a single woman who owns an old victorian that's about 113 years old. No matter how many times I spoke with Bill the Roofer, via telephone, he was always complaining about someone else's job & how busy he was and why all the other jobs were more important than mine & that's why I had to wait. Okay, I did. Upon arriving on 7/13/2011, they worked hard all day, took no lunch break and finished the work. Of course, they left me with multiple bags of debris that I had to discard with regular garbage over a period of weeks (since they were saving me money as I didn't have to rent a dumpster). Unfortunately, since that time, we've had heavy rain and one of the leaks that I originally contracted with him to repair, still exists & is an active leak. I've called him several times, actually speaking with him once. At that time he promised to get back to me in about a week, still complaining as he was very busy. It's weeks later and I'm now having siding work done on the house. The workers discovered that the canopy over a window that the roofer allegedly replaced contained 2 holes that he neglected to repair, he simply covered them up. Needless to say my telephone calls have gone unaswered. I hate to have to do it, but I may have no choice but to sue him is small claims court.
Description of Work: Bill, the Roofer & his son came to perform some repair work. He was to replace the roofing over the canopy above a window and over a back door (2 places) and repair a leak & then patch some holes in my garage.
