 + -1 moreTotally frustrating, it's hot and I'm just going to buy a new air conditioner, I can't deal with the repair process. They also did not say how much the visit was going to cost, so I could wind up paying almost as much for the visit and repair as for buying a new one.
Description of Work: Avoid! Whirlpool is not a service company, they contract out to other companies. You go through a lengthy phone tree (15 minutes) before getting a representative. I set up an appointment for Thursday, assigned to A and E Service, be there between 8am and 5pm. They called this morning (Thursday).The "serviceman" had a problem and the next available appointment is next Thursday. When I complained the operator said she couldn't do anything that wasn't "in the system."

 + -1 moreWHIRLPOOL DOES A FANTASTIC JOB. THEY CAME RIGHT AWAY AND GOT THE PROBLEM FIXED IN NO TIME. THE DRYER WORKS LIKE BRAND NEW AGAIN, IT GETS HOTTER THAN FIRE.
Description of Work: REPAIRED DRYER THAT WAS NOT HEATING, REPLACED HEATER CORE/HEATING ELEMENT.

 + -1 moreTHIS COMPANY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB OF COMING OUT RIGHT AWAY AND FIXING MY WASHING MACHINE. MY WASHING MACHINE WORKS LIKE NEW. THE REPRESENTATIVE WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE OF HIS JOB.

 + -1 moreTHEY TOOK CARE OF THE PROBLEM ONCE THEY GOT THERE. THE PRICE WASN'T TOO BAD EITHER. I THOUGHT THEY WERE VERY HONEST ABOUT WHAT WAS WRONG WHICH IS HARD TO COME BY THESE DAYS.

 + -1 moreTHE COMPANY RESPONDED TO MY CALL RIGHT AWAY, AND SENT SOMEONE OUT IN JUST A FEW DAYS. THE WORKER THAT CAME WAS ON TIME AND DID A GREAT JOB. THE WASHING MACHINE LID STAYS IN PLACE NOW SO THE MACHINE KEEPS RUNNING.

 + -1 moreTHEY CAME OUT AND THOUGHT THAT THEY HAD FIXED IT, BUT IT TOOK ANOTHER SERVICE CALL TO ACCOMPLISH THE TASK. THE TECHNICIAN COMMUNICATED WELL AND EXPLAINED WHAT WAS WRONG AND HOW IT NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED.
