Description of Work: upgraded boiler in heating system. the upgrade did not work. then tried to sell me a new boiler. eventually they correcte the problem in the boiler, but i'm still not sure it's going to make it through the coming winter.

Our technicians were prompt and courteous and took time to diagnose the problem and made sure it was working properly before leaving. Flat pricing for the work depending on the nature of the problem was transparent. Highly recommended.

Description of Work: They got our boiler heating system up and running. We had to wait a week, which was unfortunate, but then they came through when they said they would, so we can't complain!

Description of Work: Cleaned the central air unit, found and fixed a leak, added coolant. Very good service, thorough, took their time to ensure that it was operating again. Our make of compressor does not seem to be all that common, and it is not easy to get at, but Vigilante addressed everything extremely professionally.

Description of Work: My church needed to get three quotes for some work that was needed on the gas boiler in our parsonage. Vigilante was one of thtree company's called for a quote. There was a service charge for this, the price was quoted in advance. The technician was punctual and professional. He described what in his opinion had to be done, and gave a price for the work to be done, all of which were in line with the two other quotes received. We did not use Vigilante because the church governing board decided to hire one of the other two plumbing and heating companies who had done work for the church previously. I believe they may have been called on again in a similar situtation. I am no longer on the board and don't recall when this occurred but I think it was in late 2011, early 2012.

Description of Work: I found a plumber on angies list. They had a coupon. I called them and made an appointment, and they called me back to confirm appt/date. They came right on time. I gave me coupon to a guy name Ernie. He came in, we talked a little about my concerns, what i wanted to accomplish. He listened to me then inpected my plumbing in the house, checked out the drains in my home, then we talked a little more about what i wanted done,as far as the projects in my future. I then asked him about a few things I wanted done. He gave me some ball park figures and said I can't give you an exact price as he didn't know what items I wanted as far as extras and fancy products. Ernie was very honest. He knew his trade and then he gave me some tips as far as maintenance and keeping my plumbing running smoothly. I would highly recommend Vigilante Plumbing. They were on time,very knowledgeable, they listened to my concerns and give me great options.

Description of Work: They installed a boiler. Their service was fine. I have not seen the work, yet. I called them from Massachusetts and my apartment is in New York. I paid for it before it was installed. The heat is back on and working. They have been very responsive whenever there was a problem.
