They were great. I was pleased with their service. The floor came out beautifully.

I had my new wood floors finished for the first time by this company. The floor finish bubbled over and I was left to remove them myself. It took me weeks of work on my own time. In the end I had to pay extra to have the floors finished an additional time to try to fix the damage. The company said that the problem was half my responsibility and half theirs so the last coat was $250. Then the company finally told me it was probably related to a change in the formula of the coating - why was this partly my responsibility??

I needed a hardwood floor for my upstairs hallway. From the salesman who first came ,to Gina, who answers the phone and arranged the work schedule and the workmen who started and completed the job, they were all very professional and did a great job. My floor looks absolutely beautiful. I would indeed recommend Verrazano Flooring,great company!!

I used them in October 2007 and they resurfaced one of my apartment floors. They followed our agreement first of all which is always wonderful and were fair in pricing. They were clean, efficient and the workers were polite to the other members of the building.

This is a very professional company.I called to get an estimate and they sent an extremely knowledgable and friendly gentleman. I asked him to give me prices on 3 different rooms and he broke each room down seperately,with prices for each and explained the procedure.Since the estimate I have had one room done(the bedroom)and I am completely satisfied. The 2 fellows that actually did the job were great.They worked very well as a team and did the job quickly and neatly.The floor looks BEAUTIFUL !! I will be calling them back to finish the other 2 rooms as soon as I am ready

My floors look gorgeous. I don't think they looked this good when they were new. They came on schedule, worked very hard and didn't damage anything. I know they covered, because I saw them do it and I was impressed with their thoroughness. Still, there was a layer of dust on everything in my kitchen and living room. I guess it's just unavoidable. It would be helpful if they could figure out a way to cover chandeliers and ceiling fans. One thing was surprisingly bush, they didn't screw the cover plate of my circuit breaker box back correctly. Still, I fixed that, I've just about cleaned up the dust and I'm thrilled with the floors.

I was so happy with them they did everything right and in good timing. They were very professional and new what they were doing. I will use them again.

Verrazano first sanded and prepped our floors and then refinished them with the polyurethane we had selected. The end result was very nice, and their work was professional, timely, and high quality throughout. They showed great care in their work and cleanup afterward.

They did a great job. They were there when they said they would be there. They got the work done when they said it would get done and they did a great job.

It went well. I told them to mind the new paint job and they stacked the wood on the painted wall. They did cut my doors for free to make up for the scratches in the paint. I received an estimate and that is the price that I paid. I was definitely pleased with the results.

The use of water-based finish led to a discoloration of entire floor requiring re-sanding and redoing with oil-based. Company very responsive, but sanding old thin wood floors twice raises problems for the future.

They are now going to sand and repair a floor in my apartment. My experience with them was good. The work was done fine. I would recommend them and use them again.

It went fine, they do good work. The only problem, and I don't think it's the guys fault is the machine broke down and they had to replace it. The timing was incorrect-they weren't precise and they had a two hour window. Regardless of those things, they are still worth hiring and their work is excellent.

Excellent phone contact and follow-up, very professional estimate and no surprises once the work started. The floor looks like new, even if the tiles had a very thin veneer due to previous jobs. Not the cheapest guys by any stretch, but I was happy to write that check for such workmanship and results.

Both floors came out beautifully. Everything was as they said - the work, their prices, their completion date. They were very professional.

I chose someone who quoted half their price and got a sub par job.

I contacted them, they provided me with detailed information over the phone (including a cost). Then an representative came out to my apartment and gave me a quote that roughly matched what I had been told over the phone (it was a little more because I live in Queens and they are based in Brooklyn). The workmen came when they said they would, refinished my empty bedroom (we hadn't moved in yet) and then returned two days later, also on time, and applied a second coat of finish. There was a slight mix up over the time that the workers were suppose to come on the second day but they resolved it on the phone and came when I asked. The floor looks great.

I called the company for an estimate. It was within the price lines that I was expecting. The floors look beautiful. They hand sanded the trouble areas in the corners and at the baseboards, which makes a huge difference. They were tidy as well. Much less dust than I expected. The only complaint I have is that the communication between us was not the greatest. I was getting an extra coat of polyurethane. I was told 3 times that the job would take 5 days. After the job was started I was told it would take 8 days due to the extra coat. When I asked why I was not informed of that beforehand, they advised that the standard job is 5 days, the extra coat took another few days. It seems that no one looked at my quote when I asked the question.

I was very impressed with these people. They were very nice and came with an estimate in advance and then called me back to see if I wanted them. It took only 3 days to strip the old wood and put in the new floor. The estimate was the lowest I found and they stuck to it. They left no mess for me.

They followed up on my call and provided an estimate on the best day for me. In doing the work, they showed up on time and were extremely professional and friendly. I always got a call from the office confirming a time slot and they were up front and clear with pricing (confirming any changes before doing work). I originally didn't want stain, but changed my mind the day they arrived for work and they were again professional and handled this gracefully. I was impressed with their skill level, attention to detail and cleanliness of work (I expected there to be more dust everywhere from sanding). My floors are just beautiful! I highly recommend them.

I CALLED THEM, AND I HAD THEM RECOMMEND MY SISTER HAD HER FLOORS DONE. SOMEONE CAME AND GAVE ME A PRICE. THEY CAME EXACTLY WHEN I WANTED THEM TO COME SO I DIDN'T HAVE TO TAKE TIME OFF WORK. THEY FINISHED, AND IT WAS VERY CLEAN. THEY DID A BEAUTIFUL JOB. IT WAS FLAT. IT WAS A REALLY NICE JOB.

IT WAS AN A. I WAS A LITTLE CONCERNED ABOUT THE WORK, BUT THEY ASSURED ME IT WAS GOING TO COME OUT PERFECT. THEY HAD TO MATCH THE EXISTING FINISH IN THE LIVING ROOM. EVERYTHING CAME OUT JUST THE WAY THEY SAID IT WOULD. THEY CAME OUT WHEN THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO COME. THEY'RE A LITTLE MORE EXPENSIVE THAN EVERYBODY ELSE. THAT'S WHY THEY GOT THE C, BUT I KNEW THEY DO GOOD WORK. THE FLOORS MATCH PERFECTLY AND YOU CAN'T TELL WHICH BOARD WAS REPLACED.

The workers were very professional and neat. My wife and I were very satisfied with their work. My floor came out very beautiful and I would definitely recommend them.
