Description of Work: removed old decrepit oak hall flooring and installed new oak floor to match the former 110 year old floor. Removed all carpeting from three levels of stairs and front parlor and refinished in the time I had requested.

Description of Work: After meeting with 5 different contractors, I hired Verrazano Flooring to replace my kitchen floor and sand/refinish my parlor floor. I'm thrilled with the results and I highly recommend this company to anyone who wants a new wood floor installed or an existing wood floor refinished. The entire operation (from office staff, to project manager, to various skilled craftspeople) runs smoothly and with great efficiency. |Glenn, the rep with whom I worked, quickly identified the type and specifications of the existing wood floor in my parlor and then arranged for the same to be installed in my kitchen, recommending additional trim only (and exactly) where needed. He did a fantastic job of tracking the many details and managing the entire project. (Had I used one of the other contractors, I would have had to visit a flooring vendor to select the wood myself. This would have been a painstaking and time-consuming process.) |Verrazano made it easy for me to select a stain (from the many available) that works for the existing floor and the newly installed floor. Although the two floors are side by side, the transition is seamless. |There were several technical and logistical issues, such as a kitchen island that could not be moved. Verrazano, with many years of experience, had the expertise to handle each and every one. They also provided detailed floor care instructions well in advance of the job so that I could prepare. Finally, they answered my follow-up questions. |Verrazano moved to a new office during the week that my floors were done. Surprisingly, this created only the smallest hiccup. Frank, the owner, and Glenn worked with me to resolve any inconveniences. The floors far exceed my expectations and I couldn't be happier. Thank you, Verrazano, for a job well done!

Description of Work: They sanded and refinished a large living room and dining room. They were very careful, especially with dust control. In three days, I had absolutely beautiful floors. I am delighted with them.

Description of Work: Verrazano installed hardwood floors over our existing floors. We were pleased by their work in all respects except in the way the left our place. Plastics to control dust were hanging from the walls, there was a visible chunk out of one section of the moulding, and the radiator was not reaffixed to the wall. Other than that, they did a good job on the floors, which is what we hired them for.
