DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They literally wanted to charge me 400 dollars for a lock that’s at Home Depot for 40 dollars to install. The technician literally showed me where the lock was from and no price and proceeded to say it is 400 and a total of 450 to install. Upon me looking it up on Home Depot website and discovering it was 40 dollars all of a sudden the locksmith stated oh well how much you want to pay and if you pay me cash I can do it. As a woman I get that you think you can run game on me and me bot doing my due diligence and even with inflation - that kind of mark up has no sense. He then proceeded to charge me a service fee which will be disputed with my credit company and I will be also putting in a complaint with BBB and the department of consumer affairs

Terrible Worst experience ever. I asked for a Medico lock. Rico put on a multi lock. He I had 1 lock changed. He overcharged me. Charged me $600. He had no change so I wound up giving him even more; several dollars over the $600. He insisted no one would ever be able to break in with the lock he installed. The apartment was broken into the next day. I texted Rico to tell him. He didn’t care. All he wanted to talk about was that he could come over again that next day to change the bottom lock and what time he should arrive. We had never agreed that he would be the locksmith changing it. Rico did not give me a receipt. He did not leave my lock that he took out of the door. I am worse off than before and out a huge amount of money,

Al put a new high security lock on our apartment door. He is amazingly professional--superb customer service and excellent, thorough work. We spoke on the phone a couple times before he came for the installation to ensure our choice of lock. We also needed extra keys cut and he gave us one for free. His is the kind of customer service you could depend on in the old days--he is expert at what he does and downright gracious in delivering his services. I would call him again for any future needed locks and I have already begun recommending him to my friends.

I panic when I could not get the basement door open to get out. To my surprise when the locksmith came he turned the lock and the door open. All he did was tighten a few screws and charge me for it. He did accept the coupon.

They immediately cut it for me in seconds. After which I found the key but it was too late. My fault.

I have hired Urgent Locksmiths previously. As usual, the services provider were excellent. I would certainly hire them again and would absolutely recommend Urgent Locksmith.

Came right on time, replaced lock, I even had an additional lock replaced while he was there. Reasonable prices, very professional, would recommend and hire again.

Oh my god they were fabulous, they were amazing. Pricing over the top amazing. I was just so impressed, A plus. It was like $68 which is like nothing and then it came with a lock, it was an amazing price.Very low price.Too soon to tell about he quality, we'll give them an A on the benefit of the doubt but its lasted 6 months. Punctuality was good. I would use them again undoubtedly, I would recommend him. He just came to replace my lock, he came the same day I called. He gave me the coupon price even though I was not in NY city, I live in the suburbs. He did an amazing job. It was like an emergency visit and he charged me like a non emergency visit.

Al is very quick, clean and professional. Although, he does not service Queens, he came out and it was on a Sunday! Wow! I will refer him to friends and family.

Excellent. He was courteous, professional, fast, and on time.

The lock wasn’t put in properly, he over charged me.

It went well, it was a Sunday morning when a lot of places were closed or hard to reach. They called me back in 20 min. I was given a quote and they were at my house in a half an hr. It turned out to be a different lock that they quoted the price for, but the had the right one with them anyway. Fast and professional.

He came very quickly after I contacted him and arrange for the service visit paren nonemergency). He was professional and priced and very competitively compare to local locksmiths even with the additional $29 cost for service on LI.

I called Al at 9:20AM. He picked up the call immediately. He said that he was headed out to Long Island for a job but that he was available after that job was complete. I asked him to text me when he was heading back, which he did. He arrived when he said he would. Al was a friendly, personable, easy going man. We discussed the work I wanted him to do, agreed on a price and he began work. He worked rapidly and efficiently and answered all my questions in detail. I would certainly hire Al again. I highly recommend him.

I called him at 10:30 on a rainy night, stuck outside my business, but unable to leave because my key was stuck in the door. He said he would be there in 15 minutes and he was. He took care of the problem right away. He really got me out of a difficult situation.
