This company met all my expectations. I would use them again for future projects.

United Decorators came to our house from Brooklyn to South Jersey. They were very professional and came with an plenty of sample books of fabrics to choose from. Paul the owner came with his son, both were very nice and took a lot of care to explain all my choices.The couch was delivered back to my house in four weeks and looked amazing. The fabric looked fantastic and my couch looked brand new with all the wonderful touches it originally came with. I loved my eight year old couch again. Then I realized that I wanted a different type filling, so I called Paul up and I explained that the filling wasn't exactly the feel I had wanted. So they picked up the cushions and in one week I had my couch cushions back and they were perfect! I would recommend United Decorators to everyone. Not only did their work look beautiful but as a company they stand behind their work and want each customer to be happy.

It was fine. They gave what we needed or what we wanted. I just like them. I was very pleased with them.

An excellent experience in all -- knowledgeable, intelligent, and efficient sales and service. Nine windows were involved, and they all look beautiful. The price struck me as a bit high, but it's probably the price you would have to pay anywhere for top-quality shades and installation -- or less, given the Angie'sList discount. I would certainly use United Decorators again -- and I have 33 windows in my house!

It was a good deal and it was fine. The blinds are really nice and they are a perfect fit. The final cost was more than I was expecting. The installers were fine and they were thoroughly professional. I would grade the scheduling a “B.”

The service was excellent. I was very pleased with them. The wooden blinds suit perfectly. I did several purchases. I tried one room first and then the study. I had to do the living room and the bedroom. They were very helpful and very reliable. I appreciate their expertise and advice because I don't know anything about blinds. I wanted wooden blinds that sit in with the color of my furniture. The advice was good. When the first blind that we got came, it was actually broken. It couldn't be raised or lowered. It had to be returned back. It was Douglas' fault. I asked them to call Billy to get on them. They have to go back again. It took them weeks to fix it. That was a Hunter Douglas's issue but I like their blinds. Overall, they were okay. I think the price was pretty fair. As for responsiveness, they were very nice. They were very good installers. The one guy who came was really good and very knowledgeable.

I feel that the service from United Decorators for the big deal was okay. They provided the service around April, the same time I purchased the big deal. They most definitely charged me more than the big deal and I think that it was 1000 dollars additional. The product was good but it was a little pricy though. I don't think that I would purchase it again. The company can better the company for a future service by being more clearer in their advertisement about their pricing structure.

This turned out well. They initially measured and on one of the windows where the shade looked a little crooked they came back and made it look better. They were very nice and gave me two throw pillows in the same fabric for my inconvenience. While their prices are on the higher end, they offer customized service.

I did not realize this was a down payment and there would be additional costs associated. I was not prepared to spend the additional money so I did not go forward with the service but they were very nice and understanding about the situation. I was disappointed that I would not be able to work with them at this time but I would definitely consider them for future work.

Everything turned out beautifully. Job was done even faster than originally projected and within cost. Everyone was very professional. Furniture was picked up and returned with great care not to break anything or to damage newly painted walls. We would use United Decorators again.

We have a 25-year old Carlyle Convertible sofa--very solid and well-made--that we'd had recovered by another company years ago and they replaced the back cushions with ones that were completely mushy and which would collapse down to the seat cushions. Not comfortable and pretty unattractive, too. Constant use by kids, too, so stained arms and in need of some attention. Paul came, gave a bid and a time frame for turnaround that suited us. We chose fabric and his guys picked up the sofa within a couple of days. The sofa was returned early, amazing, and the work is very good. There was a problem, though, and it was probably our own vehemence about the floppy back cushions that caused the miscommunication--the new back cushions were pretty rigid and had absolutely no give. We lived with the sofa for a few weeks and the cushions didn't break in at all so I took a deep breath and called Paul to see what could be done. I expected a fight, honestly, but what I got was complete courtesy and professionalism. His guys picked up the cushions on Monday. They were returned on Thursday and they're much better. I highly recommend United Decorators and would use them again.

They did an amazing job! The chairs look so great, I am really happy with them. They were hesitant at first to take on the headboard dilemma, but after coming to our house and seeing it he went ahead. While he was here for his first visit he went through fabric options with me, discussed the cushion firmness of the chairs and also how he was planning on solving our headboard issue. Although he gave a 4-5 week time period for the work to get done, it only took a couple of weeks. The pick-up/delivery guys were wonderful as well. They were very professional and accommodating. Overall I loved my experience with them and would recommend/use them again in a heartbeat.

Paul was terrific, so accommodating on schedule, gave us some great options and was just lovely to work with. The blinds came quickly and were installed fast and perfectly. Would definitely call them again soon!

Paul, from United Decorators, was professional, prompt, and courteous. He came out, all the way to Bronxville NY from Brooklyn NY, to give me a free quote. He explained the services he would perform, and how he would do it. He even tried to get me a cheaper quote on my fabric. His company picked up my couch and returned it when it was finished. The delivery was prompt and right in the time frame stated. The workmanship was outstanding, including all the piping, matching the pattern, and arm covers. He added padding to the bottom cushions and re-stuffed the down pillows. His company made me wish I had done all the furniture in the living room. I highly recommend United Decorators.

Paul, Dahlia and the happy staff work wonders. They are very helpful, hard-working, and with extraordinary skill and artistry.

Overall United Decorators were very professional. Their salesman Paul was punctual friendly and really put together an informed quote. The only drawback is the price, as they only sell Hunter Douglas blinds which for 17 windows was way out of our price range. If I had the budget I would certainly go with them.

It went very well. Because my chairs came out so well it was like having a new dinette set. I would highly recommend them to anyone. They really go out of their way for their customers. Which is a service very hard to find today. They are responsive to your needs and they communicate well.
