Scheduled the repair from 11-5 and was told that they will call to provide time update. No call. I called them at 1:30 and was told that tech will be there from 2-4. Called them again 4:30 and was told that they can't reach the tech and will call me back. No call back. I called them again and was told they will come after 6:30. When they finally did show up they refused to come into the apartment because there was a dog. We locked up the dog. They finally came in, looked at the dishwasher for a minute and refused to service it. I am pretty sure that they refused because it was late and they did not feel like working any more.

Description of Work: They were supposed to repair my air conditioner that was under warranty. First, they came to take my air conditioner and they didn't get back to me with a problem for 4 weeks. Then they finally got back to me and claimed that my problem wasn't under the warranty. I called up the company, which was Frigidaire and they told me that it was absolutely under warranty. So then they removed the air conditioner from my window and brought it to the shop. Charged me $100 to take it and then they didn't get back to me for another 2 weeks to tell me that there is an additional part that is needed. I didn't trust them to get the part, so they told me what part it was and I ordered it and sent it to their facility and they told me that I purchased the wrong part. They finally came back with the air conditioner with the right part that they got themselves. My A/C worked for a day and a half. Now they are telling me that i need to do additional work and pay more.

First problem: there are no external coils on the LG. Second problem: His workman, while moving the fridge, broke a door part on the inside of the frame by pulling or pushing too hard. That part kept the door from closing securely. I called AID Audio & Television Svc Corp. See my scathing report on this fraudulent company.
Description of Work: My 4 year old LG refrigerator was turning itself off. Top Digital told me he had to clean the coils and move fridge back from the wall a few inches.

I scheduled an appointment for 2-5 pm a week in advance, was told they would call when they were on their way. I called them at 4 pm when there was no word and was told there were delays (which they apparently had known about all day) and they would be late. I complained about them not having called me, and they agreed that was bad. They offered a new window between 6 and 7 pm that same day and said they would be available by phone until 8. No one ever called or showed up, and I could not reach anyone to find out what happened because they were not available by phone as promised.

HORRIBLE!!!!! The machine was unplugged at the time of service, so instead of plugging it in, they told me the digital panel was broken and needed to be replaced. Then, when he didn't have the right tool to remove a piece, he used some sort of pliers which cut a hose and then said I needed to replace it... in addition to actually getting a new door, because it wouldn't close after he pulled apart the machine. The machine is 2.5 years old and just out of warranty. The quote was for $800. They woman was really nasty and said if I couldn't afford it, maybe I should buy a new machine (which would cost $1800... not sure about that "cheaper" math). I called them back multiple times to discuss the digital panel situation, etc and to speak with a manager but nobody returns my calls. I've now had to have another company come out to fix it, who said the hose that was cut (which was visibly done with the pliers, not due to erosion or natural wear) has no way of being replaced and in fact I will need to buy a new machine because water sprays everywhere if you turn it on.
Description of Work: STAY AWAY! LG referred them to "fix" our washer/dryer. It had a "TE" thermostatic error. They said on the phone that they accepted checks, then revised that to "business checks" or cash only once he got here. The service charge quoted to us from the office was for $124.99 and then he said no it was $150 when he got here!

A complete failure and misery.
Description of Work: 1. They showed up very late and did the wrong diagnosis without even investigating the cause. 2. Ever since they did not call us back, did not respond to our calls. 3. Then they promised to show up but they never did. 4. Three times. 5. Wrong parts were ordered and we had to wait another 2 weeks for the right parts. 6. No calls, no calling back... 7. We're cutting our losses with them.

So far, I am not impressed with them. We paid them $270 including the tax and they said they needed a new belt for the dryer and a pump for the washer. They did the repairs and the dryer started making really bad noises that it didn't used to make. They said that it might be the motor. They still have not come back to take care of the dryer. Their communication seems it pretty bad as well. It seems like they are trying to sell their own merchandise rather than repair a problem. I am having a second company come out to look at the dryer.
Description of Work: They diagnosed the problems and repaired a washer and a dryer.
