The Appliance Maven

Josh showed up for our initial appointment to diagnose the problem. Cost was $75 dollars to be credited to a repair if I went with him. He came back with a part which did not fix the problem. He came back again with a different part but did not fix the problem--creating a new error message on the dryer--but said he could and would come back within a day to finish the repair. Then he disappeared. No call. No return of my calls to his cell phone. No call back from the "office." After hounding them for a while I came to understand there is no office: just him. I paid my contractor to come meet him 3 times because I needed to be at work and he doesn't have the courtesy to return or answer my call to let me know he gave up or won't return. Total fail.

The igniter would glow red but would not get hot enough to light the gas in the oven. I did a search on Angie's list for appliance repairers within a 5 mile radius of our home in Williamsburg Brooklyn hoping to find a local shop that could service the oven quickly. I spoke with Josh, the owner, that morning and he was able to perform the service call that evening. He used the correct OEM part, and had the igniter replaced quickly and efficiently.

Very well. He is very flexible on schedule. I ordered the service and he came in to install them the same day. Very nice guys!

He came when he promised. Was neat professional. respected my home and property. Told us what the issue was and how we want to proceed . With such nice service how can we not proceed? He was truly a god send.

The experience was phenomenal. Extremely professional. Came when he promised within the timerame and he was neat and clean could only tell he was there because the machine was up and running. Very respectful of the home.
