I was very pleased with the service. The men who cleaned the carpets were extremely professional and thorough. They explained the process to me. They moved all furniture when needed and were very considerate. I received a call about 30 minutes before the crew arrived. I appreciated that very much as I have dogs who had to be moved to another part of the house.

Now there's no time to get my floors coated by somebody else before the move in. These guys really cheated us.

They were wonderful! They did a superb job and the people were great. It went well.

Although they cleaned it throughly, they couldn't get any stains out from our rugs or couches. It was quite a disappointment.

Excellent service and great job - p***** that on-line registration did not account for a price difference between wool and synthetic rugs .. Tech made a small adjustment and I abided -- but twice as much for a wool rug?????? Come on!!! They didnt do anything different. Yet I was still happy this time -- if they overcharge me next time, it will be a different review. For now, quite satisfied

They were very good. Overall, I rate them highly. I would use them again in the future.

I signed up on Stanley Steemer's website and picked the 8AM - 9AM time slot, because the other time slots were three-hour windows, and I absolutely had to be at work and couldn't waste time waiting around. I received a call over the weekend to confirm the appointment for the following Monday, I was told I would receive a call from the "Brooklyn office" when they were on their way to my home Monday morning. I asked if the caller was from the Brooklyn office, and she told me she was from "Headquarters."By 8:45 Monday morning, I'd heard from no one. I called "Headquarters" and spoke with a young woman who told me she was going to check and see where they were. She came back on the line and told me she'd spoken to the "dispatcher" and they were on their way.This turned out to be a complete lie. I called back again at 9:00AM and after waiting for some time on hold to speak to someone, and becoming increasingly late for work, another woman went through the same routine, ultimately telling me they were on their way after speaking with the "dispatcher." By 9:15, I called back to ask to speak to a manager. I was connected to the "Brooklyn office" and got a voice mail message. I left a message asking someone to call me back. I called "Headquarters" again at 9:30 and said I was desperately late for work, could I reschedule for another date and for a set time, because this was simply unacceptable. I was told that would not be possible. I could only reschedule and roll the dice in a one-hour or three-hour-window. No thanks. It doesn't seem Stanley Steemer honors its scheduling windows. I was finally passed on to the "dispatcher," Abraham, who told me that, in fact, he could not tell me where the technicians were, because he wasn't able to reach them. I asked if it wasn't true that they were "on their way?" And he told me he couldn't tell me that for sure. He also confirmed that they only way to reschedule would be to do so within another window, not for a specific time. Finally, the "manager" of the Brooklyn office called me, but I was already walking to the subway on my way to work. He told me "the guys are on the way," and I am still kicking myself for having the courtesy to tell him never mind, that I wasn't home any longer. He didn't deserve it.

It came out nice and clean. They were okay. They came out and did what they had to do. They were very much on time and kept their schedule. They didn't do any peripheral damage which had happened in the past with other companies. They didn't break anything or do anything. They told me what to prepare. They were very good and very businesslike. They told me exactly how to get my area ready. It seemed to be a good job. It took long time for the carpet to dry. I wish it was a bit drier, but it might be that my carpet is old and more porous. I am due to have them come again. I try to do the cleaning every six months, but this was the first time I was using Stanley Steemer. They kept their appointment and were reasonably priced. They were always running specials, but I was just not in time for their special. I didn't do it when they were having the special. I didn't do any comparison pricing. They took care of everything over the phone. They called to confirm the appointment, and then came out. I had no problems with them. They used two different teams. I can only speak for the team that came to do my house. I was lucky with the team that came out.

They charged about $1000 for the service. They were very good. The two gentlemen, who came out, were very polite. They bent over backwards trying to satisfy me. I took the card from the gentlemen to have them come out in the future; that is how satisfied I was with their work.

Stanley Steemer did a very good job. They were quiet and efficient. They moved the furniture without scratching anything. They did a nice job with the cleaning.

They came when they said the would. They worked very hard. The next day, the couch didn't look all that clean. I called them and they came back again when they said they would. The couch looked much better after they tried again. I was very satisfied wih their work, but I must admit that a few weeks later, most of the dirt reappeared and though the carpets felt clean, they didn't look much better than they had before.

The work was okay, but they damaged something. They said they would come and repair the damage themselves, but the person who was supposed to do the repair called and canceled at the last minute. I have contacted them to try to reschedule but they have not called me back. They also have set prices, but then load you up with additions, which inflates the price. I did not like this manipulative practice. I would have possibly considered using them again, but because of the lack of response over the repair, I will not.

The project went well. They were fast and efficient. They were reasonably priced and they usually have some kind of discount or coupon deal out. They did a decent job. I have no complaints with their service.

They arrived when they said they would and did exactly as they said. They knew what to use on the spots and did a great job of cleaning. We are happy with the way our carpet looks.

Great team of Michael M. and Eugene D. arrived on time and proceeded to work immediately. Professional and accommodating in every way. Both were a class act and paid attention to detail. Nice experience.

A team of two young men arrived slightly after the slotted time of "between 8-9 AM Saturday morning". Only one came in and stayed while the other went back and forth to the truck to avoid tickets (which they told me they have to pay for). Both men were quite young, but extremely nice and courteous. When the man doing the shampooing started to work on my furniture, there was quite a bit of water on the floor and wooden arms of my chairs. I had to get a dish towel and a mop and wipe up water as he worked. He finished very quickly and although he was extremely nice, he was not very thorough. The second guy came back to help load up the equipment. When they left, my bath tub was dirty where they had dumped out the water from the machine. There were still some stains on the chairs (which I got out myself after they left) and there was still cat hair on my sofa frame. I would not use them again. Their very courteous attitude did not make up for the quality of their work.

The gentleman arrived on schedule and was very congenial. He was careful of everything and did a great job on the carpets. I was surprised how quickly he job completed the job and also how fast they dried. I recommend their service.
