SMB Plumbing & Heating

We just wanted to clear toilet drain, but SMB Plumbing & Heating wanted to replace whole toilet fro $1,200.00. This jobs should have been under $200.00. Rip-off company. Watch Out.

They were on time, professional, informed and gave an accurate diagnosis of the problem with the necessary solution. The pricing was fair and competitive to our zip code.

Reuven (SMB) does all my commercial plumbing work. He is fantastic. I met Reuven 4 years ago, and have been giving him all my work since we met. They are tedious and perfectionists.

Appointments cancelled. Apponinment was constantly pushed back. I finally cancelle the appointment scheduled for 5PM on Friday, April4, 2014.

Reuven came and checked out our home, helped us pick out the right heater and installed it, he was very professional and the install went great.

Boiler two-year checkup. It was okay. He didn't put the cleaner in the boiler. He said it was clean and didn't need it. (The plumber I used to use checked the boiler every two years and always put the cleaner in it. The only reason I stopped using them was because their prices kept going up!) He and his helper didn't bring in a large bucket to take the water out, they used my pot and spilled water in the boiler room. He also said he would send me an invoice via email. I never received it.

I set up an appointment and a technician came out to look at the work a few hours later. He made an assessment of what needed to be done and I spoke with his boss, Reuven to discuss the quote for what I needed done. I explained that the quote was above my budget for what I wanted to get done, and that I didn't want to be unfair to him, but I didn't have more to spend. We discussed the items that I absolutely needed done, he worked out a fair price with me that we could both be comfortable with and scheduled a day for the installation. On the day of the installation, Reuven arrived with another technician, reviewed the work to be done, and got to work right away. The work included replacing a bathroom faucet, fixing a kitchen sink with a rotted pipe and no connection to the sink causing water to fall in the basin, and fixing a leaky bathtub. Reuven took no short cuts and installed new piping and fixed everything well to my satisfaction. Very professional, completed when he said he would, and within my budget.

I called SMB Plumbing and spoke directly with Reuven who came to my home to do an estimate and the work was done on the same day. It could of not been easier. It was work that I had put off for a long time because I was not sure where to find a professional and trustworthy plumber. Reuven and SMB plumbing did a great job and I am beyond satisfied. I would definitely use/recommend their services.

He promptly diagnosed the problem as a clog in the main house trap, and then he cleared out the clog using an electric snake (the clog was pretty severe). Problem solved for $175. We had gotten a wildly inaccurate estimate of the problem from another company (they said the leak was due to our waste line being cracked inside the foundation wall, where it leaves the basement, and that it would cost $2650 to fix, not including the cost of digging the pipe out of the foundation wall). We called SMB for a second opinion, and we were relieved to have the problem fixed for $175 withing a half hour.
